Background & History

Qian Daoliu completed the Eight Angel Trials, became the Angel God’s High Priest, and served as Pontiff of Spirit Hall before passing the pontiff position to his son, Qian Xunji. After finding the infant Ye Cangming, he raised him within the Offering Hall. Qian Xunji later died, and Bibi Dong became Pontiff. 80

His granddaughter Qian Renxue became the final hope of both the Qian Family and the Six-Winged Angel inheritance. When she was brought back from the Heaven Dou Palace Coup in an apparent deathlike state, Qiandao believed that his family line and the Angel God inheritance had ended. He blamed himself for allowing her Tiandou mission and vowed to bury everyone responsible with her. 1 3

Qian Renxue’s death was actually a deception engineered by Ye Cangming through a Perfect Feigned Death Card, but Qiandao remained unaware of this and launched his revenge believing her to be dead. 3 4

Qian Renxue’s apparent death destroyed those restraints. He began to regard himself not as the Qian Family’s guardian, but as an old man with nothing left to lose; promises, innocence, and the family’s former principles no longer held authority over him. 12 21
