You Dared Hurt Yezi? You Deserve to Die!

Rasa clutched his bleeding shoulder and watched them warily. "My intuition tells me that letting you go back would be very dangerous."

His intuition had saved his life many times during his days in Meteor City. He would not doubt the information it gave him.

"Intuition?" Luo Ye rubbed his temples, feeling nothing but a headache. "Why do I keep running into such abstract things?"

Machi's sixth sense and Rasa's intuition were both mysterious, conceptual abilities that could not be guarded against.

He knew about Machi's, but he had failed to guard against Rasa's.

He did have Kido specifically meant to counter spatial abilities. He had intended to make Rasa lower his guard, then carefully set things up and take him down in one stroke.

He had not expected Rasa's intuition to render his concealment completely useless.

Illumi and Feitan had already closed in on him, but Rasa opened a hole beneath them. If not for Machi's incredibly sharp sixth sense noticing something wrong and hurriedly tying them up with her threads, Illumi and Feitan would probably have fallen into the spatial passage.

But the situation was not much better now. They had charged too quickly and had not held back at all. Their center of gravity was suddenly pulled away, leaving most of their bodies trapped inside the hole, barely able to maintain their balance with Machi's threads.

"Damn it!" Feitan cursed bitterly, clawing at the edge of the hole with both hands as he tried to climb out.

Rasa frowned slightly and was about to make his move when a flash of red light shot toward him, forcing him to teleport to the other side to evade the attack.

"Bakudō #9, Geki." Luo Ye held his wooden sword in both hands and pointed it at him, his eyes curving with a smile. "Sorry, but I'm your opponent."

Stop worrying about Illumi and Feitan. Wasn't Luo Ye alone enough for him to handle?

Luo Ye smiled amiably as he offered a kind warning. "So you'd better not get distracted, or you might die very easily."

"You alone can't deal with me!" Taking advantage of the fact that those little brats were still trapped in the spatial passage and unable to free themselves, Rasa waved his hand. Invisible force exploded in front of Luo Ye.

Luo Ye's expression sharpened. He used the Shunpo he had just exchanged for and dodged at top speed, but his shoulder was still sliced open, blood pouring from the mangled wound.

This was Shunpo—a skill that could move him beside his opponent, or even farther away, at a speed they could not see, allowing his body to move instantaneously. Yet even that had failed to completely evade Rasa's strike.

Fortunately, he had used Shunpo. Otherwise, that attack would have landed directly on his heart and taken his life.

His effort in sacrificing Zanpakutō progress yesterday had not been in vain. That was how he had obtained such a powerful skill. If he had not only just started using it and still been unfamiliar with it, Rasa's attack would not even have touched the edge of him!

"You still didn't die from that?" Rasa was somewhat stunned to see Luo Ye evade his attack. This was his trump card, a Spatial Blade that required an enormous amount of Nen to unleash.

If not for that, he would have used this move on Luo Ye from the very beginning.

"You're done attacking. Now it's my turn." Luo Ye clutched his shoulder, baring his teeth in pain, yet he still did not forget to reveal a savage grin. "Take this—Hadō #90, Black Coffin!"

A black, wall-like rectangular prism rose from the ground, trapping Rasa within. Since Luo Ye had abandoned the chant, countless shadow blades did not fly out to attack Rasa, but the coffin still firmly trapped him in place.

Even trapped, Rasa did not panic. "I'm a spatial ability user..." Was trapping him not a joke? As long as he opened a spatial passage, he could get out of this coffin in minutes.

"Is that so?" Luo Ye asked, looking toward his heart. Rasa frowned and lowered his gaze, only then seeing a blade tip protruding from his heart. It withdrew, leaving only blood spraying from around the wound, accompanied by sharp pain.

"When did this happen..." Rasa fell in disbelief, revealing the expressionless Feitan behind him.

Feitan stared coldly at the fallen Rasa. "You dared hurt Yezi. You deserve to die."
