Seated on the throne, Ye Chen blazed like a torch with Nitro Fire. He carried an authority that commanded respect without anger.
At his word, Kalifa and Reiju exchanged a glance. Kalifa handed a stack of documents to Ye Chen and Sakura, then began reporting on the Underworld's development over the past two years.
"Boss, the kingdom's arms exports over the past two years totaled five hundred trillion Beli. Its other Underworld businesses brought in another two hundred trillion Beli. Thanks to that growth, Tes Anges has expanded from a medium-sized island into a large one.
"The kingdom now controls thirty percent of the Underworld market. Many kingdoms and other powers have also asked for discounts in exchange for placing large arms orders.
"In addition..."
Ye Chen turned through the documents as Kalifa reported. The hall was silent except for her voice.
It took Kalifa a full two hours to finish covering the Underworld's growth and future plans.
"Very good."
Ye Chen closed the documents, reasonably pleased. The Underworld alone had brought in seven hundred trillion Beli. Arms were clearly the most profitable business, though the others had done well too.
As Kalifa reported the figures, disbelief spread across the ministers' faces. Seven hundred trillion—not seventy billion, but a sum measured in trillions. Just how much money was that?
With the Underworld covered, it was time to discuss the kingdom's own development. That concerned them far more directly.
Some of the ministers grew nervous despite themselves.
Reiju stood and picked up a set of documents much thicker than Kalifa's.
Ye Chen read as he listened to her report.
"Boss, excluding the Underworld, the kingdom itself earned one quadrillion Beli. We've also fully consolidated the islands in the former Whitebeard Sea. Several prosperous islands performed especially well, including Paradise Kingdom,
