There weren't many people in the bathhouse. Perhaps Baccarat had arranged it that way. After they entered, the other guests gradually left until only Rogge and his group remained.

Before long, a group of women wrapped in bathrobes came in carrying sake. They stepped into the hot spring, poured the drinks, and handed them to Rogge and the others.

"This is good sake!" Ares said with a smile after sniffing it.

Only after hearing Ares did the others accept the sake. None of them knew poison better than he did, unless someone like Magellan showed up.

Then again, Magellan's poison affected even him. It was a miserable existence. His backside must have been thicker than a city wall after all those hours he spent on the toilet every day. If he ever got hemorrhoids too, the thought didn't bear contemplating.

They soaked in the hot spring and drank warm sake for about two hours. The women scrubbed their backs, then led them out for a sauna.

"Mmm. I haven't felt this good in ages." Rogge removed his bandages, revealing two horrifying wounds. One was on his chest, the other near his shoulder blade. Both were bloodred and still healing, with flesh slowly growing back.

The woman who had scrubbed Rogge's back had been too frightened to touch him when she saw his wounds. They were simply too terrifying.

And those were far from his only injuries. Countless scars covered his body. By comparison, Enel barely had a mark on him. Jelly and the others had scars, but nothing like Rogge's. It was a frightening sight.
