What pirate out there had a good reputation?
Who wasn't someone everyone wanted dead?
"Kid, did you dig up Roger's ancestral grave or something?" Golden Lion asked curiously.
Ron looked up at the blond man with flowing hair and a fierce expression, shook his head, and honestly explained why his reputation was so terrible.

Then... many people froze for a moment, followed by waves of laughter rising across the ship.
"Kid, are you trying to laugh me to death?"
"Tch... I thought you'd done something incredible."
"Sounds a little pitiful, but it really is funny when you hear the whole story."
Everyone on the ship chimed in, and no one thought Ron had done anything wrong.
Some even thought Ron had been merciful. If it had been them, one bad mood would have been enough to drag the neighboring village down with them.
Others mocked Roger for being hypocritical. If he didn't like Ron, then he didn't like him. Did he really need such a pathetic excuse to reject him?
They were all pirates. Whose hands could possibly be clean?
Silver Axe stared intently at Ron for a while before shifting his gaze to Rocks. "Rocks, how strong is this kid?"
"Strength?" Rocks paused and thought for a moment. "He should be decent, I guess. What do you think, Ron?"
Ron frowned slightly as a blue status panel, visible only to him, suddenly appeared before his eyes.
Host: Ron Basic Abilities: Observation Haki [Intermediate (245/500)] Armament Haki [Intermediate (159/500)] Conqueror's Haki [Intermediate (67/500)] Taijutsu [?(?/?)] Swordsmanship [Intermediate (133/500)] Constitution: Sage Body (Unlocked) Sage Eye (Locked) Special Ability: Four-Tails (Unlocked) Triggered Ability: Lava Release (from Four-Tails) Mysterious Roulette >>> (Activation Requirement: One Devil Fruit)
Looking at his current status panel, Ron wasn't sure either. What level did this count as in the world of pirates?
Ever since he had transmigrated here, he had never fought any famous figure from the original story.
The people he had fought were nothing more than bandits, some unknown pirate crew, and Marines from some unknown branch.
"Jihahahaha! You idiot, Silver Axe. What the hell can you learn just by asking?" Golden Lion mocked him smugly.
Silver Axe immediately frowned. He and Golden Lion were sworn enemies, the kind who were always looking for a chance to kill each other.
"If you've got nothing to do, then go die, Shiki," Silver Axe cursed.
"Jihahahaha! You pile of dog shit, you're really vicious, wishing death on someone else." Golden Lion fired back at once.
Ron nodded vaguely... Yeah, this was the real deal. This was the "discipline" of the Rocks Pirates.
"Can you two stop howling like ghosts already? Don't scare the newcomer." Linlin finally couldn't stand it any longer and spoke up.
Golden Lion and Silver Axe turned to look at Linlin almost at the same time, showing no appreciation whatsoever. "You sure love meddling, Linlin."
After cursing her, the two turned back and grabbed each other by the collar, continuing their shouting match.
Golden Lion: "#@¥¥(What the hell?)"
Silver Axe: "!@#¥%@(What the hell?)"
Boom!
At that moment, both Golden Lion and Silver Axe were kicked off the ship by an enormous force.
Ron was stunned. Looking closely, he realized that Rocks had somehow already boarded the ship and had sent both of them flying with a single kick.
"You two bastards, settle down for a while!" Rocks cursed irritably.
Golden Lion and Silver Axe, having been kicked off the ship, were not angry. They looked at each other and then exchanged harsh words.
"Fine, Shiki. For Rocks's sake, I won't hold it against you today."
"Idiot, that's what I should be saying."
Rocks ignored the two of them and turned to Ron instead. "Everyone seems pretty curious about your strength. So, how about showing us what you can do, Ron?"
"Who am I fighting?" Ron didn't mind. More importantly, he also wanted to gauge his current strength and see what level he could reach if he went all out.
Rocks thought it over. Many people weren't suitable—either they didn't know how to hold back, or they simply had no interest and thought it would be a waste of time.
"Got it." Rocks's eyes lit up as he found a suitable candidate. "Kaido, you give him a try."
Kaido, who had been leaning against the ship's railing and watching the show, froze before quickly refusing. "Hey, Rocks, don't dump every dirty job on me."
But Rocks merely smiled as he leaned close to Kaido and whispered a few words into his ear.
It was clear that the reluctance on Kaido's face gradually faded away, and then... Rocks kicked him off the ship.
Kaido climbed to his feet angrily. Just as he was about to complain, his spiked club was thrown down after him.
"Do a good job, Kaido." Rocks wore a smile.
"..." Kaido looked like he wanted to say something but held it back. He ignored Rocks and turned toward Ron instead. "Hey, newcomer, are you ready?"
"Come at me!" Ron immediately entered a fighting stance.
At the same time, the ship became lively.
"Come on, come on, place your bets! Bet on Kaido to win and the odds are two to one. Bet on the newcomer and the odds are three to one!" John busied himself, seizing the chance to make a fortune.
But contrary to his expectations, no one paid John any attention.
"Who do you think will win?" Rocks appeared atop the ship and sat beside Whitebeard. He casually picked up a bottle of liquor nearby and took a few swigs.
"Don't know." Whitebeard shook his head and then stood up. He didn't want to guess. It didn't matter who won or lost.
"Wororororo~" Rocks didn't press the matter. His attention shifted to the bottle in his hand, which looked strangely familiar. He looked up at Whitebeard, who was about to leave, and said, "Hey, Newgate, don't tell me you're drinking the liquor I hid away."
"Don't know. I found it in the cabinet." Whitebeard leaped down onto the ship's deck.
"You really are a bastard." Rocks grumbled twice.
