"We've been ambushed again." Tang San gritted his teeth, his voice forced out with a hint of ferocity. "Just how many traps did that brat set up in the room! Doesn't he get caught when he gets up at night?!"

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. He slammed his fist against the wall, but the sharp pain in the back of his hand brought him back to reality.

He looked down at his left hand; it was trembling violently, and his entire palm was red and swollen.

He tried to use his Mysterious Heaven Skill to expel the poison, but the poison on the spider silk seemed to be specifically targeting his meridians. With each use of his Soul Power, the tingling and itching sensation intensified.

Especially my eyes, it felt like someone had stuffed two handfuls of chili powder into them, my vision was blurry and clear intermittently, even the moon in the sky became a double image.

"Tang San, oh Tang San..." Tang San laughed self-deprecatingly, a laugh more like a grimace. "You're supposed to be a disciple of the Tang Sect, yet you've been so humiliated by a six-year-old's traps. If your fellow disciples from your past life saw this, they'd probably curse you back to life from your ancestral graves."

He leaned against the wall for a long time before he could regulate his breathing.

However, Tang San's consciousness blurred once again. Tang San forced himself to walk towards the Shrek Academy.

Under Dean Flender's persuasion and assurances, Dean Liu Erlong changed Blue Tyrant Academy to the Shrek Academy.

However, their performance was lackluster, and they didn't achieve any good rankings. Dean Liu Erlong planned to change the school's name back.

Back in his room, Tang San vaguely saw what looked like someone on the bed and pounced on them without hesitation.

"Ah--"

A scream came from inside the house.

The next day, in the morning.

"Little Guga, wake up and get up quickly."

"Hmm..."

Jiang Lan rubbed his eyes and sat up in bed, his hair sticking up like a dandelion. The zipper of his Penguin Suit was half-open, revealing his round little belly. He yawned widely, tears still glistening in the corners of his eyes, looking like Little Penguin just pulled out of dough.

"What's wrong... Is it dawn yet...?" Jiang Lan asked indistinctly, her feet dangling on the edge of the bed, unable to find her shoes.

"Look at the floor." Doro squatted by the bedside, his short finger pointing to the mess in the center of the room.

Jiang Lan looked in the direction Doro was pointing, and her eyes slowly widened.

The floor was a mess; the flip-flop had collapsed, the pit was half-open, and colorful caltrops were scattered everywhere inside.

The metal box on the windowsill overturned on the corner of the table, spraying orange powder all over half of the windowsill.

Several broken white silk threads lay on the ground, and a few flying needles were stuck in the wooden cabinet, the wall, and the bedpost; the blue light at the ends of the needles had dimmed.

The most conspicuous thing was the dirty book on the ground; the cover of "Nine Yang Manual" was so dirty that the words were almost illegible.

"Not again?" Jiang Lan blinked, instantly snapping back to reality.

"Yeah, even worse than last time." Doro jumped to the ground, carefully avoiding the flying needles, walked to the flip-flop, glanced inside, then turned back and said, "He stepped on the flip-flop and got caught in the spider webs. But he escaped, and he didn't take the Nine Yang Manual."

Jiang Lan slid off the bed, picked up the badly damaged "Nine Yang Manual," dusted it off, and sighed, "I've already told you I have more than one copy. If he wanted it, he should have just asked. It's not like I wouldn't lend it to him. Why does he have to come and steal it in the middle of the night? How many times has this happened?"

"The second time," Doro corrected, holding up two short fingers.

"If it's this bad the second time, will he come back a third time?" Jiang Lan stuffed the book back into the cabinet, then squatted down to close the flip panel again, and tapped it with her toe to confirm that the card was in place.

"Judging from his personality, he'll probably come again." Doro jumped down from the windowsill, dodging the pool of orange powder, and looked up at Jiang Lan. "Should we leave him a note? Tell him that if he comes again, he'll face the consequences."

"Too much trouble." Jiang Lan waved her hand and began to tidy up the barbed wire on the ground. "Let him do whatever he wants, it's not me who suffers. It's just a pity about my floor, it'll be a hassle to fix. Doro, get me the tools, and that can of orange paint left over from last time."

"Do you want me to redraw the penguin's face?" Doro asked.

"Draw a bigger one." Jiang Lan yawned, using her foot to gather the broken spider silk aside. "We also need to install an even louder alarm. That way, next time he comes, you can wake up earlier to see the show."

Doro nodded seriously, then turned and ran to find his tools.

Jiang Lan squatted down and picked up a flying needle. Examining it in the morning light, she muttered, "The medicine on this needle seems pretty potent. How can he still run after being hit... wait, what's that...?"

He sniffed, and in addition to the smells of Ju Zi and rust, he also caught a faint, familiar pungent odor in the air.

Jiang Lan stopped moving.

He slowly turned to look at Doro, who was dragging a small bucket of paint in through the door. Seeing his strange expression, Doro asked, "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing." Jiang Lan shook her head and tossed the flying needle into the recycling bin. "I just feel like that thief might be... a little off."

"Little Guga, Master has a guest visiting." Just then, the voice of the Guga Robot rang out from outside.

Jiang Lan, somewhat curious, said, "Let him come over."

When Feng Xiaotian was led into the backyard by the Guga Robot, it was just dawn.

He wasn't wearing the Godwind Academy team uniform today, only a plain-colored long robe. He looked much more haggard than on the day of the competition, with two faint dark circles under his eyes, as if he hadn't slept well all night.

Jiang Lan was squatting by the doorway, painting the newly installed alarm with a small brush, while Doro squatted beside her, holding a bucket of paint. The two heads, one big and one small, were close together, creating a heartwarming scene.

But Feng Xiaotian immediately noticed the orange powder that hadn't been wiped clean on the windowsill and the few slingshots that hadn't been cleaned up in the corner, and his lips twitched involuntarily.

The place where this little guy lives isn't very peaceful either.

"Jiang Lan." Feng Xiaotian stood in the courtyard, not approaching rashly, but first respectfully clasped his hands in greeting, "I apologize for the intrusion."

"Don't bother me." Jiang Lan turned around, waved her small hand covered in paint at Feng Xiaotian, and said, "You sit down first, I'll come over after I finish painting this."

Feng Xiaotian sat down at the stone table. Doro brought him a glass of water, then pulled two Ju Zi from under his belly and placed them in front of him, blinking his big purple eyes in a friendly manner.

Feng Xiaotian said thank you, picked up the Ju Zi, didn't peel it, but just slowly turned it in his palm.

After Jiang Lan finished the last stroke, he threw the brush into the paint bucket, ran to the stone table, and climbed onto the bamboo chair opposite him.

The bamboo chair was a head taller than him, and his two short legs dangled in mid-air, his little orange webbed feet wobbling back and forth.

"You came to see me, it's not because of the competition a while ago, is it?" Jiang Lan got straight to the point, picked up the cup in front of her with her small hands, and gulped down half a cup of water.
