Background / History

Bei Bei is associated with Shrek Academy and is identified as Mu En’s great-grandson. He possesses the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Martial Soul and an atavistic Golden Holy Dragon bloodline. Tang Ya relies on him as the more restrained and practical counterpart to her impulsive leadership of the Tang Sect 12.

He accompanies Tang Ya and Jiang Nannan into the Star Dou Great Forest to help Su Mu obtain his first Soul Ring. During the expedition, Bei Bei serves as the group’s combat leader, guide, and source of practical advice on Soul Beast habitats and Soul Ring absorption 12 13 15.

After Jiang Nannan’s mother becomes seriously ill, Bei Bei helps relocate her family to Heaven Dou City, arranges medical consultations, and ultimately brings Elder Zhuang to treat her. He later gives Su Mu the key to an empty courtyard before leaving for Shrek City 18 21 31.

Personality

Bei Bei is calm, responsible, and tactful. He regularly moderates Tang Ya’s impulsive behavior, from stopping her from pressuring Su Mu into joining the Tang Sect to persuading her not to accompany Su Mu into a potentially dangerous investigation 12 24.

He respects other people’s secrets. Although he becomes suspicious of Su Mu’s unusual healing abilities, he decides not to pry, believing Su Mu should reveal them in his own time 23.

His battlefield experience makes him attentive to support-type Soul Masters and long-term tactical advantages. He immediately recognizes the value of Su Mu’s persistent Blue Silver Vine Rings, which can continue supporting allies after Su Mu withdraws from the front line 16.
