History

Following the Chaos Pearl's shattering, some of its fragments evolved into independent Innate Spirit Treasures rather than returning to the original pearl's origin. After Qing Xuan recovered a Chaos Pearl fragment in the North Sea, he sensed twenty-four related auras from the distant East Sea. 30

Qing Xuan and Qing Yi located the pearls within an Innate Grand Formation above an East Sea Sea Eye. The twenty-four pearls initially resisted them, combining their power into twenty-four layered worlds that suppressed the surrounding sea and Space-Time. Qing Yi dismantled their linked formation with the Creation Great Dao, allowing Qing Xuan to envelop and pacify the full set with his manifested world. 32

Before their acquisition, the pearls absorbed Taiyin moonlight and the East Sea's water-element essence while their interconnected five-colored radiance suppressed the Sea Eye. Their auras occupied overlapping independent spaces and shifted with the tides, becoming visibly apparent beneath the sea after the Taiyin Star rose. 32

Although the pearls shared Qing Xuan's origin, they had already become complete treasures with their own innate restrictions and could not merge back into him. Qing Xuan instead gave all twenty-four to Qing Yi, judging them more suitable for her Dao and future development. 32 33

After refining them, Qing Yi used the pearls to detect a corrupted East Sea Water Vein and later to isolate the Sea Eye containing Luohou's World-Destroying Black Lotus seal. 36 37

Following the seal's destruction, the water within the pearls surged in response to four sword cries transmitted along a hidden westward connection. Qing Xuan recognized these as evidence of the developing Four Swords of Execution. He and Qing Yi subsequently used the pearls to conceal their auras while following Luohou's demonic network westward and recording its connections to the surrounding Earth Veins. At Longevity Mountain, black threads contained within a pearl resonated with the mountain's Earth Veins, while Zhen Yuanzi's Earth Book responded to the evidence they carried. 37 38

During the search for the Three Immortal Islands, Qing Yi used the pearls to navigate the East Sea, stabilize a spatially looping current, and maintain a water connection through the islands' concealing formation. On Penglai, the set helped immobilize the Lotus Pond's Three Lights Divine Water during the subjugation of the World-Cleansing White Lotus, then collected most of that water into its internal worlds. A pearl later contained an entire black lake during the exploration of the islands. 42 43 44

In the Blood Sea, Qing Yi deployed all twenty-four pearls at Qing Xuan's request to slow the surrounding waves. This exposed the outline of an Innate Grand Formation that had concealed itself by shifting with the sea, allowing Qing Xuan to establish its spatial dimensions with the Hongmeng Measuring Heaven Ruler. 45

World-Bearing Suppression

Each pearl contains an embryonic world. A single pearl can suppress Water Veins and disrupt an opponent's five senses; when all twenty-four are combined, their internal worlds can impose overwhelming suppressive force. 32

• The complete set generated twenty-four layers of suppression, described as carrying the weight of the entire East Sea. 32
• Qing Yi used a single pearl to freeze the seawater around a Sea Eye and expose Luohou's hidden influence beneath a battlefield. 36
• The pearls slowed the Blood Sea's waves across hundreds of millions of miles, exposing a formation that had been shifting with the sea. 45
• All twenty-four pearls immobilized the flowing tricolored waterlight in Penglai's Lotus Pond as Qing Yi approached the World-Cleansing White Lotus. 43

Water Vein Resonance

The pearls are innately attuned to the sea's Water Veins, making abnormalities within vast seas difficult to conceal from their wielder. 36

• Their combined operation revealed an unnatural disturbance in an East Sea Water Vein. 36
• Qing Yi used them to follow currents across the East Sea and avoid becoming lost during the search for the Three Immortal Islands. 42
• A pearl connected to the wider East Sea enabled Qing Yi to draw genuine seawater into the Three Immortal Islands' spatial formation. 43
• Black threads held within a pearl resonated with the Earth Veins beneath Longevity Mountain, helping establish the connection between the recovered demonic traces and Zhen Yuanzi's Earth Book. 38

Formation and Spatial Control

The set can divide, stabilize, and connect bodies of water across separate spaces. 36 42 43

• Qing Yi divided the Sea Eye into twenty-four isolated water realms while Qing Xuan severed its corrupted Water Veins. 36
• The pearls fixed an ancient current caught in a spatial loop, exposing the folded space concealing the Three Immortal Islands. 42
• Twenty-three pearls drew a continuous stream of East Sea water through the mist formation, preserving a route that spatial distortions could not sever. 43
• Qing Yi briefly reconnected two isolated water realms during the attack on the Black Lotus, demonstrating controlled passage between the separated spaces. 37
• The pearl left outside the Three Immortal Islands' formation returned to Qing Yi before the opened spatial fissure closed, restoring the full set after their entry. 43

Internal World Storage

The internal worlds of the pearls can hold large quantities of spiritual water and other contained environments. 43 44

• The set collected most of the Three Lights Divine Water from Penglai's Lotus Pond while leaving enough water and Water Veins behind to sustain the pond. 43
• Qing Yi used a pearl's inner realm to contain an entire black lake, transforming it into a water dragon before storage. 44
• The pearls also contained black threads associated with Luohou's demonic Water Vein network, preserving traces that guided the journey toward the western Earth Veins. 37 38

Aura Isolation and Demonic-Network Tracking

Qing Xuan and Qing Yi used the pearls to isolate their auras while following the route through which Luohou's demonic seals transported Blood Fiend Aura. This allowed them to investigate the network and record its Earth Vein connections without continuing to destroy its nodes and risking Luohou's attention. 37

Limitations

• The pearls are independent Innate Spirit Treasures; their shared origin with Qing Xuan grants recognition and affinity but does not allow them to rejoin his Chaos origin. 32 33
• Their greatest suppressive effects require the complete twenty-four-pearl formation. Qing Yi first had to dismantle that same formation when the set resisted Qing Xuan and Qing Yi. 32
• The worlds within the pearls had not fully formed when Qing Xuan gave them to Qing Yi, leaving room for later development through her Creation Dao. 33
• A single pearl's suppression did not prevent the Black Lotus seal from reversing the surrounding seawater and awakening the battlefield's residual attacks. Qing Yi subsequently deployed the full set to isolate the Sea Eye while Qing Xuan severed the corrupted Water Veins. 36
