Background / History

Otto has lived for roughly five centuries and was devoted to Kallen Kaslana from childhood. Kallen wished to protect people and save the world; Otto’s wish was to fulfill hers. He later holds himself responsible for Kallen’s death, a guilt that defines his actions across centuries. 64 443

Though he became Schicksal’s Grand Bishop and helped turn it into a global anti-@@REF_ENTITY_5372275@@ power, Otto considers the organization a means rather than an end. He subsequently researches K422’s unusual bloodline, Honkai resistance, Honkai Beast DNA, and Herrscher potential. He provides her with advanced armor, training facilities, authority, and the prospect of inheriting Black Abyss White Flower, while concealing the extent of his plans. 13 54 55 72 95

Second Eruption and Conflict with Anti-Entropy

During the Second Eruption, Otto operated under the identity of Clown α. His plan was to eliminate Welt and allow Sirin to escape; Siegfried’s intervention prevented the plan from fully succeeding, though Sirin still escaped and the disaster escalated. 40 373

Schicksal emerged from the catastrophe with increased prestige, while Cecilia was publicly commemorated as its hero. Otto’s interference and later actions made him the central enemy of many Anti-Entropy members and the Kaslana family. 40 204 438

During a ceasefire negotiation secretly arranged to target him, Otto was attacked by Kiana. She repeatedly struck and burned his Soul Steel body with an imitation Greatsword of Heavenly Fire, but his capacity to transfer consciousness prevented this from ending him permanently. 283 284 285 383

Pursuit of the Imaginary Tree

After deciding that conventional resurrection could not restore Kallen as herself, Otto sought the Imaginary Tree and the Sea of Quanta instead. He agreed to provide Freya information in exchange for passage to the Sea of Quanta, where he hoped to find Kallen. 436 443
