Background / History

The Pig Demon spent a long period in seclusion beneath Wild Boar Ridge. When he emerged, the herd informed him that his only son had been killed by the Human Race. Enraged by the loss, he summoned the entire boar herd and led it against the Wind-Fire Tribe, dismissing humanity as insignificant 27.

He had encountered the nearby humans before his son's death and believed their strength was comparable to his child's. The news surprised him because of the wild boars' strong physical defenses and because other boars had accompanied his son. He regretted not having exterminated the humans earlier 27.

On the march, he demonstrated his overwhelming superiority by effortlessly subduing and devouring a white Snake Demon at the middle Earth Immortal stage. The Eagle King witnessed this and warned the Wind-Fire Tribe that a dangerous Demon Race expert was approaching 27.

His invasion stalled outside the Wind-Fire Tribe for five days. The defenders used frozen slopes, rolling logs, boulders, and attrition to exhaust his herd, while the Pig Demon failed to recognize the worsening condition of his troops until Iron Mountain broke through to Earth Immortal 28.

He then entered the battle personally, overpowering Feng Xi and resisting the combined attacks of several Earth Immortals. Although his body proved extraordinarily difficult to harm, the defenders gradually exhausted him through a rotating assault. Feng Xu disrupted his Devouring ability with Taiji martial arts and repeatedly threw him off balance 29.

After assuming a true form more than two thousand feet long, the Pig Demon was restrained by the Eagle King using the Heavenly Net and Earthly Web. He swallowed Feng Xu, but the other defenders concentrated their attacks on his abdomen while Feng Xu struck from within. The Pig Demon was ultimately killed; the Eagle King consumed his inner core before entering seclusion 29 30 31.

After his death, the allied Human Race tribes cleared Wild Boar Ridge of the remaining herd. The Wind-Fire Tribe received his corpse and the piglets under the agreed division of spoils. Exploration beneath the ridge subsequently revealed a cavern containing a spirit pool, purple crystals, and exceptionally dense spiritual energy, which Feng Xu regarded as an explanation for the Pig Demon's high cultivation 31 32.

His remains continued to support the Wind-Fire Tribe's development. Pig Demon essence blood was among the materials available for Feng Xu's Bloodline Secret Art, while his bones were designated for housing at the tribe's planned central settlement. Feng Xu also planned to refine his body into magical artifacts to equip the tribe's warriors 32 33.

Appearance

In humanoid form, the Pig Demon was a muscular, black-haired figure with a pig’s face and a human body. He stood roughly ten feet tall, appearing small beside Human Race warriors using Bloodline Power despite his far greater strength 27 29.

Personality

The Pig Demon was arrogant, vengeful, and contemptuous of the Human Race. His campaign against the Wind-Fire Tribe was driven by grief over his only son’s death, which he considered an irreconcilable offense 27.

Despite his immense personal power, he was an ineffective commander. His long seclusion and confidence in his own cultivation left him unable to judge the hunger, fatigue, and declining morale of his herd. He continued ordering assaults until the boars were too exhausted to fight effectively 28.

His patience, developed through long periods of cultivation, also contributed to his failure. He regarded five days of unsuccessful attacks as insignificant compared with the time he spent in seclusion, and assumed that his followers could recover completely after a single night's rest 28.

Once confronted by coordinated resistance, his arrogance turned to anger. He underestimated Feng Xu because of his age and could not adapt effectively to Taiji-based redirection and wrestling techniques 29.

He was also ruthless toward other demons. Despite the white Snake Demon's pleas for mercy, he treated its appearance as a convenient meal after his long seclusion and declared that its death was its fated tribulation 27.

After leaving seclusion, the Pig Demon learned of his son’s death and rallied Wild Boar Ridge’s boars for a retaliatory invasion. His effortless killing of a white Snake Demon established him as a major threat to the surrounding Human Race tribes 27.

Tribal Defense Battle

He led more than a hundred Pig Demons against the Wind-Fire Tribe in winter. The tribe delayed and exhausted the herd through terrain, supply advantages, and repeated defensive measures before he personally entered the fight 28.

Wheel of Battles

The Pig Demon dominated the initial direct confrontation, but the Human Race’s Earth Immortals developed a rotating formation that wore him down. Feng Xu’s Taiji martial arts exposed the weaknesses in his humanoid fighting style and unstable lower body 29.

Death and Clearance of Wild Boar Ridge

He swallowed Feng Xu during his final Devouring attempt but was trapped by the Eagle King’s net and attacked from both outside and within. His corpse became Wind-Fire Tribe property, while the Eagle King claimed and consumed his inner core 30 31.

With their leader dead, the remaining boars were driven back toward Wild Boar Ridge and slaughtered by the allied tribes. Feng Xu, unable to fight because of his injuries, surveyed the ridge's suitability for farming and settlement instead. The victory opened the area for Human Race expansion 31.

Posthumous Contribution to Tribal Development

The cavern beneath the Pig Demon's former territory became a cultivation resource for Feng Xu, while Pig Demon essence blood supported his Bloodline Secret Art. Because the available beast bloodlines were limited to the Wolf King and Pig Demon, Feng Xu recommended foundational cultivation-method Battle Marks rather than bloodline-dependent transformation or random divine abilities 32.

The tribe planned to use the Pig Demon's bones to build houses at Wild Boar Ridge, which was to become its central residential area. Feng Xu's subsequent seclusion included plans to refine the Late Earth Immortal demon's remains into magical artifacts for the warriors 33.

• Chapter 39 refers retrospectively to a “Late Mysterious Immortal Pig Demon,” despite the Pig Demon being identified during the invasion and in Feng Xu's later artifact-refinement plans as Late Earth Immortal. In that comparison, Feng Sui considered the enormous Poison Bee swarm harder to handle because the Pig Demon, although powerful, had been only a single opponent 28 33 39.
