Background / History

The Wolf King commanded a coordinated pack of more than one hundred wolves against a group of Human Race survivors near the iron-rich mountain later claimed by the Red Iron Tribe. Though it possessed Earth Immortal cultivation, it initially remained behind the fighting to direct the pack, preferring to avoid unnecessary injury that could endanger its authority. Feng Xu disrupted the pack with an avalanche of logs and boulders, allowing the humans to counterattack and forcing the Wolf King to withdraw. 11

It continued stalking the developing Red Iron Tribe, probing the settlement’s defenses while Feng Xu prepared trenches, palisades, spear formations, and iron weapons. The Wolf King later confronted Tie Song and Feng Yuqi personally, overwhelming both before the Eagle King wounded it and carried them away. 12 14

During the wolf pack’s night assault, it deliberately withheld its own strength while ordinary wolves attacked the fortified camp. The pack lost more than thirty wolves killed and roughly ten more wounded, but the Wolf King avoided direct combat and remained the central threat to the settlement. 15

Feng Xu united the Red Iron and Lukun Tribes to eliminate the pack. When human trebuchets, bombs, and javelins devastated the wolves, the Wolf King recognized the Human Race’s rapid development as a danger. It narrowly escaped Feng Xu’s Heavenly Net and Earthly Web, intending to warn the Heavenly Demon Wolf King. 18

The surviving pack was driven into a prepared valley ambush. Feng Xi and Iron Mountain pierced the Wolf King’s hind legs with spears, crippling it, while the Eagle King later shattered its leg bones and wounded its neck with wind blades. Feng Xu captured the immobilized Wolf King with the golden net. 19

Feng Xu judged it too cunning and dangerous to keep alive. After the Eagle King claimed its internal organs, Feng Xi executed the Wolf King. Its remains were subsequently used for the Wind-Fire Tribe’s construction and cultivation projects. 20 23

An immense wolf demon whose size dwarfed ordinary members of its pack.

Personality

The Wolf King was intelligent, cautious, and highly pragmatic. Rather than charging into battle despite its superior cultivation, it commanded from behind the pack and avoided injury that might invite challenges to its leadership. 11

It adapted quickly to unfamiliar human weapons. During the decisive battle, it ordered the wolves to spread out after only two rounds of trebuchet fire and repeatedly used howls to suppress panic among its followers. 18

However, its confidence collapsed alongside its pack. After the humans’ sustained attacks, the surviving wolves refused to obey orders to counterattack, leaving the Wolf King unable to do more than flee. 19

Earth Immortal Cultivation

The Wolf King was an Earth Immortal-level demon, vastly stronger than ordinary Human Race warriors and wolves. 11

The Wolf King’s pack endangered the iron mine and the newly established Red Iron Tribe, forcing Feng Xu to prioritize fortifications, iron weapon production, and military preparation over immediate mining. 11 12

Siege and Night Raid

It maintained pressure around the camp while ordinary wolves tested the defenses. Its decision not to personally join the night raid preserved its strength but allowed the Human Race to inflict major casualties on the pack. 15

Decisive Battle with the Wolf Pack

The Wolf King led the remaining wolves against Feng Xu’s artillery force. It adapted to the trebuchets and escaped the Heavenly Net and Earthly Web, but lost most of its pack to bombs, javelins, and close combat. 18

Encirclement and Death

Driven into Feng Xu’s valley trap, the Wolf King was crippled, captured, and executed. Its death ended the wolf pack’s threat and supplied the Human Race with valuable materials, blood, wolf cubs, and a massive skeleton. 19 20 23

Legacy

• Its blood became a principal component of Feng Xu’s Blood Pool, where Human Race cultivators fused and stabilized beast bloodlines. 23 24
• Its skeleton was converted into a large fortified residence at the Wind-Fire Tribe’s former site. 23 43
