History

The Heavenly Demonic Saber originated from Li Ming's Heaven-Swallowing Demonic Art. He refined the corpses of cultivators whose origins he had consumed into the weapon, using rare materials gathered through tomb-robbing to establish its foundation. It first served as his defense during an extraordinary Dao-sealing tribulation, where it continuously consumed destructive lightning from the thunder sea 1.

Its growth followed Li Ming's predatory cultivation path. Carefree Heavenly Venerable's corpse, damaged weapon, weapon spirit, scriptures, and Immortal Tear Green Gold became resources for the saber; the four slain Reincarnation Sea Supremes supplied further bodies, weapons, Dao laws, and Imperial Dao imprints 2 4. Li Ming subsequently fed it the remains of Dark Supremes, ancient Dao-prover corpses, Forbidden Zone materials, Faith Power, and rare divine metals 13 17.

After Li Ming conquered Kunlun Mountain, the saber received the region's Immortal Pool, Dragon-Head Peaks, and a complete reproduction of the Kunlun Immortal Bell's Immortal Dao Runes. These resources allowed it to complete its transformation into an Immortal Weapon 31 32.

Li Ming later used the Chaotic Dragon Nest to lure Dark Supremes into battle and consecrate the weapon with their deaths. The saber fought without direct wielding, assumed a humanoid weapon-spirit form resembling Li Ming, and returned to him after eliminating its opponents 33 34.

Following its transformation, the saber continued to receive Faith Power from Li Ming's worshippers. The resulting Human Race phantoms and evolving internal scenes suggested that its world-like foundation was developing into a faith-based sacred weapon, although Li Ming continued to treat Faith Power cautiously and allowed the Bronze Mirror to absorb the greater share 87.

Across Li Ming's later campaigns, the saber devoured the remains of additional Dark Supremes and became progressively more sacred and powerful. Its accumulated Supreme blood, Imperial Dao imprints, Chaos Essence, and Immortal Dao Runes made it vastly stronger than when it first advanced into an Immortal Weapon 96 97.

When Li Ming entered apparent Dao dissolution, the saber remained capable of awakening without direct wielding. It killed the Light Emperor in a single exchange, shattering the God Refining Pot and absorbing both the emperor and his imprint; this display confirmed to the watching Dark Supremes that it was a living Immortal Weapon rather than an inert divine armament 125.

The saber subsequently served as one of Undying Mountain's principal guardians. It acted in concert with the Myriad Souls Banner against the Heaven Forbidden Zone and Underworld, guarded Li Ming's weapons and domain during his seclusions, and recognized Li Fan as Li Ming's son and the young master of Undying Mountain 134 137 176.

During Li Ming's confrontation with the Undying Heavenly Emperor and the aberration fused with him, the saber helped sever the enemy's escape toward the Strange World and imprison him alongside the Myriad Souls Banner. It later remained hidden within Li Ming together with the Heaven-Burying Coffin, Myriad Souls Banner, and other Immortal Weapons while the Heaven's Will Blade threatened the world 186 232.

Appearance

In its completed state, the Heavenly Demonic Saber is crystalline and jade-like, with nine-colored radiance flashing over a blade that may initially appear ancient and bronze-like. Chaos Essence, Xuanhuang energy, Supreme imprints, and shadows of living things move across its surface 32 39.

• Forged from nine kinds of Immortal Gold, Chaotic Immortal Marrow, and Mother Qi of All Things 32.
• Emits chaotic qi, Immortal Ascension Light, and vast saber qi capable of illuminating or cleaving starfields 30 32.
• Bears the imprints of more than thirty Dark Supremes after absorbing their blood, corpses, and Great Dao laws 34.
• Can manifest a weapon spirit in Li Ming's tall, jade-like human form, making it difficult for observers to distinguish the weapon from its wielder 33 34.
