Evan learned how gold granted Beyonder power through pledged assets, then prepared to activate the final stage of Black Sun’s Wings. The transformation began with enormous clawed wings as his body, soul, and Spirituality fused with them.

• Evan watched Factory Owners and a Capitalist undergo initiation Rituals and realized that gold’s power depended on people’s assets, which could be transferred to those they controlled or their families.
• On April 14, 1911, Evan worried that his potion use and research had drained his savings, while Gold and the Secondary Brain continued to serve as an effective team.
• Evan chose to compress the Burrowing Worm’s Poison Sac into an incomplete Beyonder Characteristic, hoping it could eventually help him modify Demon Hunters.

• Evan resisted the black tornadoes that attacked his mind, and the winged sun shattered into black fog that entered his body after he answered its mysterious voice.

• The Calamity Rat King emerged from underground and attacked Evan with sonic waves, but its lower body remained confined to the hole.
