Background

The Dragon God founded the Divine Dragon Domain, gathered Dragon Clan members scattered across the universe, and raised the Dragon Clan into one of the strongest races among all worlds. While the Dragon Kings governed daily affairs, he focused on cultivation, breakthroughs, and the realm's long-term advancement. 74

He had a wife and a son, the Dragon God Crown Prince. The crown prince's mother exhausted her life force giving birth to him and later dissipated. The Dragon God's grief over her death left him emotionally distant from their son, who mistook that distance for resentment and blamed himself for his mother's death. 74

After the crown prince died in an “accident,” the Dragon God went mad. He killed the Nine Dragon Kings in his rage, devastating the Dragon Clan and enabling human gods to attack during the ensuing chaos. The Asura God ultimately cleaved him in two: one half became the Golden Dragon King, while the other became the Silver Dragon King. 2 75

Although his body perished, his Dragon Soul endured for millions of years in the Dragon Tomb. He remained there in despair until Qi Ji's arrival, recognizing Qi Ji's aura as that of his lost child. 75

Appearance

In his remaining form, the Dragon God is an immense seven-colored Dragon Soul that nearly fills the Dragon Tomb's deepest chamber.

The crown prince's death left him consumed by guilt. He believes that his emotional neglect contributed to the tragedy and initially refuses Qi Ji's tentative address of “Father,” claiming he is unworthy. 75

After Qi Ji forgives him, the Dragon God becomes openly devoted and indulgent. Unable to express affection gracefully through words, he compensates through immediate protection, cultivation resources, and divine treasures. 76

When Qi Ji asks whether he should call him “Father,” the Dragon God refuses out of guilt. Qi Ji instead focuses on becoming stronger, prompting the Dragon God to offer the Dragon God's Heart. 75

Qi Ji later confronts him directly, offers forgiveness, and demands practical compensation. The Dragon God responds by replacing Qi Ji's Rainbow Dragon Soul Spirit with the Dragon God's Heart and presenting him with the Rising Dragon Pillar and Dragon God's Tear. 76

When Qi Ji becomes stuck at level sixty-nine, the Dragon God and Light Dragon King determine that Qi Ji's human body cannot withstand the Dragon God Crown Prince's origin power required for a level-seventy breakthrough.
