Background

Qi Ji was abandoned as an infant at the Eastsea Orphanage without a note or any knowledge of his parents. He is also a transmigrator who spent six years in the Douluo world awaiting his Martial Soul awakening, fearing that a lack of Soul Power would leave him without status or prospects. 1

On Awakening Day, his contact with the Spirit Pagoda crystal triggered a vision of a grieving nine-colored dragon and caused a dragon-shaped phenomenon over Eastsea City. He awakened Innate Full Soul Power and Twin Martial Souls: a seven-colored dragon and a nine-tasseled crown.
