Deployment and binding

System 10086 was a newly deployed, inexperienced low-level system assigned to The Outcast plane. During its first operation, it played the wrong introductory recording before binding Lin Xian and initiating transmigration. Its coordinate error instead placed them at Mount Tai during the Nine Dragons Pulling a Coffin event in the far more dangerous Shrouding the Heavens universe. 1

It initially attempted to conceal the mistake by calling the setting discrepancy a normal timeline variation. The system was visibly alarmed by the universe’s scale, particularly the threat posed by beings beyond the Sacrificial Path. 1 2

Before committing to Lin Xian, it secretly established the trial mission and withheld the beginner gift pack as a test. System 10086 believed systems must select capable hosts rather than remain bound to an unsuitable one; if Lin died, it planned to unbind and seek another host. 3
