Background

Li Ye transmigrated into the body of the Li Family’s disgraced Third Young Master. The original body’s owner had failed to awaken a Blood Soul for three years, was expelled from the family, and endured routine humiliation whenever he attempted to return. Li Ye inherited both his memories and his lingering obsession with reclaiming recognition from the Li Family. 1 3

His father, Li Kainian, was the missing former Li Family head and a legendary genius whose reputation still affected how Wuzhou City viewed Li Ye. Li Ye’s status as Kainian’s son spared him complete abandonment, but it did not prevent the family from treating him as expendable. 1 6

Soon after his transmigration, a mysterious beautiful woman transformed him into a Blood Clan member. Although the change initially horrified him, he discovered that he could retain his human morality and did not need to consume living humans’ blood to survive. 2

Li Ye later found a hidden cache beneath his bed containing an ancient green-edged sword, a letter, and an inheritance left by Li Kainian. Li Ye publicly challenges Li Yue after overhearing insults toward himself and Li Kainian. Li Huangran then attempts to punish Li Ye, but Xiao Qing intervenes and helps him escape. 9 12 14

Li Family Year-End Martial Contest

Returning to the Li Family, Li Ye proves his legitimacy by leaving a fist imprint nearly as deep as Li Kainian’s famous mark on Black Obsidian. He advances through the competition, defeats stronger opponents including Li Dakui and Li Wei, and becomes the eighth-ranked Inner Disciple. 20 23 31 32
