Background

Li Yue is a highly favored genius of the Li Family and the grandson of Grand Elder Li Dao Kui. His father, Li Ye’s father Li Kainian, and Li Huangran are blood brothers, making Li Yue and Li Ye close relatives within the same branch. Despite this connection, Li Yue treats Li Ye as an outsider and a disgrace. 9 14

Li Yue appears in Wuzhou City as one of the young elites gathered ahead of the Li Family’s annual competition. While speaking with Yu Wen Tianhua and Wu Wenhao, he boasts of his own superiority and becomes hostile when Li Yating’s name is raised. 8

When Li Ye reveals himself after overhearing the conversation, Li Yue openly insults both Li Ye and Li Kainian. He threatens to break Li Ye’s leg if he returns to the Li Family, then attacks when Li Ye refuses to submit. 9 10

Battle at Virtue Moon Tower

Li Yue’s confrontation with Li Ye escalates from verbal humiliation into a destructive public battle. He uses his seventh-level cultivation and Profound Yin Palm to injure Li Ye, but Li Ye’s speed, resilience, and illusion techniques prevent a quick victory. 11 12
