Under Thanos's command, ten spaceships detached from Sanctuary II's formation and flew forward.

These spaceships were eight kilometers long, one kilometer wide, and one kilometer tall, resembling long coffins.

At the front end lay a massive muzzle, approximately one hundred meters in caliber, capable of emitting extremely powerful laser attacks.

Aside from the main cannon, the hull possessed ten secondary turrets and twenty-eight laser cannons around its perimeter.

The engine utilized a third-generation warp engine, capable of instantly crossing a distance of one hundred light-years.

A few seconds later, she flew right in front of the ten spaceships, and then, ignoring the existence of the protective shield, charged directly into a spaceship.

Then came the flying sparks.

After a moment, she flew out from the other end of the attack ship, and then continued charging toward the next spaceship.

At this point, Proxima Midnight watched Captain Marvel display divine might and destroy ship after ship, saying somewhat distressedly, "Lord, what should we do now?"

Although their faction was massive, spaceships were not conjured out of thin air; those were all built by consuming massive amounts of resources.

Hearing this, Thanos turned his head to glare coldly at her, and said, "Once this war ends, you and the other four are all going to train properly, failing to beat even such small-fry characters."

Although Captain Marvel was a peak existence in terms of combat power in Marvel, that was only the early stage.

By the later stages, the likes of Green Scar Hulk, Scarlet Witch possessing the Darkhold, corrupted Doctor Strange, anti-Celestial armor Iron Man, and so on—every single one of them could utterly crush Captain Marvel.

Of course, Captain Marvel would also encounter a stroke of fortune in the later stages, transforming into a binary state with off-the-charts combat prowess, but the present Captain Marvel was merely someone who had absorbed the Space Stone's energy yet only knew how to use it crudely.

Naturally, sound could not travel in the vacuum of space, but she employed a few minor tricks to allow her voice to reach his ears.

Hearing the question, Thanos merely nodded faintly, saying in a low voice, "Tell me your name."

Of course he knew the other was Captain Marvel, but since it was their first meeting, he naturally could not act as though they were very familiar with each other.

Lifting her chin, Captain Marvel said proudly, "I am Captain Marvel, protector of the universe. You and your lacklings back off right now, and I'll spare you."

"Ha ha..." Hearing this, Thanos immediately shook his head with a laugh.

The opponent was indeed as arrogant as in the movies.

Yet he was not the nerfed Thanos from the films.

He did not even know where the upper limit of his own strength lay.

For five hundred years, he had never once slacked off on his training, continuously growing stronger day by day, even though the data shown on his status panel indicated his strength was only around twenty thousand.

However, this strength was merely physical power; if combined with the Destructive Power and the Ruler skill bestowed by the system, he felt he could even blow up a planet.

Thanos said indifferently, "One punch. If you can take a single punch from me and survive, we can talk about the rest."

Hearing such dismissive words from the opponent, Captain Marvel laughed out of extreme anger.
