Background

Lin Yue was raised by Lin Xiaotian and Li Xue, parents who possessed valuable Planting Talents but deliberately remained low-tier Plant Garden owners rather than entering military service. Their choice taught him to value safety, domestic peace, and family over status. 3

On his sixth birthday, Lin Xiaotian gave him a dark-purple Chomper seed. Lin Yue raised the plant for more than ten years by watering, trimming, and feeding it insects; by the time it matured, it had become his most dependable companion. 2
