Useless Trash
The swarm of Immortality insects displayed tremendous power.
Lin En organized all the remaining soldiers, nuns, and canned goods to join the counterattack.
Everyone hangs up for Thirty Days.
Charge! Clean up the planet!
Eliminate all Necrons on the surface.
Destroy the Blackstone Array on the planet.
"All forces counterattack!!! Clear out all Necrons on the ground!! Smash all Blackstone Obelisk --!!!"
Lin En walked to the high platform in the center of the square.
What is called a high platform is actually the base of a monument that has collapsed in half.
Lin En stood atop it, creating a halo of Golden Light that spread outwards from the base of the monument, covering the entire gathering area.
The Astra Militarum and the Krieg pushed forward in skirmish lines, followed by the Battle Sister' square formations, and then the Salamanders, Ultramarines, and Lamenters mixed together to press down at the back.
The Zerg swarm in front was responsible for attacking the Necrons, while the Terrans behind provided fire support.
The Bolter roared.
The Necrons on the surface were overwhelmed by the army of human-insects and retreated deeper into the ruins.
One by one, the Blackstone Obelisk fell down.
Not only the Tyranids, but the warriors also smashed the Obelisk immediately upon seeing them.
If the entrenching tool can't cut through the base of the Obelisk, then use explosives instead.
With a loud bang, the Obelisk shattered into pieces.
The eerie green light flashed briefly, then went out.
With the Obelisk falling, the psionic suppression in that area immediately eased a bit, allowing Lin En's aura to cover a wider range.
One Obelisk after another fell.
The Necrons on the surface were gradually wiped away.
The swarm of insects buzzed, pouring deeper into the ruins.
"Push it again--!!! Smash the rest--!!!!"
The army continued to press towards the center.
Thirty Days later, no matter how the Necrons tried to fight back, it was to no avail.
Gauss Flayer struck a human Astra Militarum soldier, inflicting a penetrating wound to the chest. According to standard lethality models, the target should have been rendered incapacitated. However, the target continued to advance, the wound remained, and the target did not fall. Three seconds later, the target returned fire.
how so?
Has the Gaussian ray malfunctioned?
Those humans and insects are Immortality to kill.
The target unit exhibits abnormal damage tolerance; the damage caused by the energy weapon appears to be offset by some external factor.
What kind of energy field could have such an effect? This doesn't make sense!!!
It is speculated that the external gain field originates from a human commander unit that emits golden radiation. Within the range of this golden radiation, all hostile units exhibit extraordinary damage tolerance.
Calculate the countermeasures.
Concentrate firepower to strike the commanding unit.
Execution result: Failed.
The commander unit is positioned behind the swarm, which forms multiple biological barriers that the Necrons's firepower cannot penetrate.
Try sending out the Deathmark Assassin.
fail.
The Deathmark Assassin was intercepted by the swarm, which was too large.
The heavy Gauss Cannon hit the swarm, causing widespread damage, but the damage effect was not sustained.
The swarm resumed its advance amidst the golden radiation, and the units hit were not rendered combat ineffective.
Humans chased after them to fight, while the insect swarm chased after them to devour them.
The Necron Warrior fell one after another, and before they could regroup, the swarm of insects attacked.
The Living Metal of the Necrons is composed of nanobots. When the Necrons loses its ability to fight, its body will turn into particles and dissipate, then return to the tomb to reassemble.
The Tyranids made a quick, satisfying run before the Necrons regroup.
The Living Metal that has been eaten is gone and cannot return to the tomb.
The Necrons could only retreat helplessly.
The Necron Warrior retreated a step, and the swarm advanced a step.
They retreated until they had nowhere left to retreat.
They retreated until they reached the entrance to their tomb.
The Necrons's tactical analysis units upload the results to the command node, which then uploads the results deep into the tomb.
Zeras's Supreme Fabrication Protocol received the data and remained silent for a moment.
Then the order was given: Guard the entrance.
The combined forces of the insectoid swarm and humans pressed forward in front of the tomb entrance and began clearing the area.
One by one, the Necron Warrior Tyranids even get up, the humans finished them off with their Chainsword.
The defenses at the tomb entrance are crumbling.
Expected time of loss: Very short.
The command node uploads the last piece of data deep into the tomb.
The Blackstone Array has been destroyed; they cannot escape.
Deep within the tomb, Zeras slammed the controller. "Damn it!!! Damn it!!!"
The metal controller slammed onto the Blackstone floor, bounced twice, and rolled to the corner.
Zeras stood in front of the Control Console, his eight spider legs pressing against the metal floor with a crackling sound.
Zeras slammed his hand on the Control Console, denting it. He turned and roared at the communication node behind him, "Useless trash!!! To be driven to this point by such a lowly race!!! Hold it at all costs! We can't let them breach the tomb entrance--!!!"
The ground, the square where Lin En stood.
The swarm of insects sent a message to Lin En that they had found the entrance to the tomb.
Lin En jumped up immediately.
That damned entrance to the Zeras Tomb is right below the Sanctuary Cathedral, about forty meters down from the main ruins.
Lin En immediately contacted Phoros to recall all the warriors from all directions, and led the entire army to charge in the direction from which the swarm had sent the message.
It takes more than ten minutes to walk from the square to the ruins of the main basilica of the Sanctuary Cathedral, but he arrived in seven or eight minutes.
A large crater has collapsed in the middle of the ruins of the main nave of the Sanctuary Cathedral.
At the bottom of the pit is a long passage, at the end of which is Blackstone archway.
The archway was very tall, probably over ten meters, and the frame was glowing with a faint green light.
A force field spreads out from the inside of the door frame, sealing off the entire doorway.
The swarm of insects surrounded the archway, with layers of Blue-Green-Purple insects crashing into the force field.
It bounced back when it hit something, rolled on the ground, got up again and kept hitting it. The rubble around the archway was scattered all over the ground, but the resistance remained as firm as a mountain.
Lin En was at the very front.
Lightning slashed through the door frame, shattering the Blackstone. The runes on the door frame flashed twice before going dark.
All you useless trash, die!
The Dimensional Slash shattered the tomb's gate, resisting all resistance and cutting through all obstacles.
Invading the Zeras Tomb.
Silver-white lightning swept through the Blackstone Corridor, slicing open the sealed doors blocking the way, shredding the turrets on top, and cutting the Necron Warrior blocking the corner into pieces.
