After advancing to Legendary Rank, Green still had plenty of work to do. First, he needed to upgrade his skills.
Many of his skills had upgraded automatically when he advanced, but others required Psychic Energy. Skills that had previously hit the limit imposed by his rank, such as Bone Spear Array, Corpse Explosion, and Shadow Flash, now had room to grow again.
Next, he began recruiting troops in the Graveyard like mad. Five thousand Skeleton Soldiers would do for a start. To a wealthy man like Green, ordinary Skeleton Soldiers cost only five Psychic Energy each; he could afford a hundred thousand, let alone five thousand. Even converting them all into Gun Skeleton Soldiers would cost less than forty thousand Psychic Energy.
Green also recruited another thousand Skeleton Soldiers as an elite force, outfitting them with Construct Armor and equipping them with either Enchanted Sniper Rifles or Dragon-Hunting Rifles.
The Construct Armor, Enchanted Sniper Rifles, and Dragon-Hunting Rifles had already been prepared. Green only had to spend some Psychic Energy to fuse the equipment with the ordinary Skeleton Soldiers, so the total cost was not too high. Arming all thousand Construct Skeleton Soldiers cost less than fifty thousand Psychic Energy.
Artillery came next. Old One-Eye's death had cut off Green's source of weapons in the Main World. His attention had lately been on the Void World, and he had yet to establish a new supply channel. But after Cyrabelle left, Green took charge of the Royal Capital's defenses, and Stinnard's arsenal naturally fell into his hands. With a stroke of his pen, he declared large quantities of brand-new arms and equipment damaged beyond repair. The supposed causes varied: damp, rust, insects, rats...
