Fugaku looked surprised. The Mystical Palm Technique was a fairly advanced form of Medical Ninjutsu. Even in Konoha, few Medical Ninja had truly mastered it.
"Looks like you did more than just dabble in Medical Ninjutsu before. You mastered the Mystical Palm Technique in three months.
"You must have trained in it before. It seems Root's records weren't complete after all. They were more for show than anything else."

Fugaku understood. It had been meant to satisfy the Third Hokage. No one else had the authority to investigate Root's records, and Danzo liked to keep something in reserve.
Killing him had clearly been the right choice. If Danzo had lived, there was no telling how much trouble he might have caused.
At the very least, the Uchiha could develop in peace without Danzo in Konoha. Fugaku would not let the Third Hokage cultivate another man like him.
Besides, the current circumstances hardly allowed for another Danzo to emerge. Judging by military achievements and strength alone, only five people in Konoha qualified for that role.
They were the Three Sannin, Sakumo, and Fugaku himself. Orochimaru was the Third Hokage's favored successor, so he naturally would not want him to sink entirely into darkness.
Root was an organization that drew hatred. Once someone became its leader, becoming Hokage afterward was all but impossible. Even at the height of his power, the Third Hokage had been unwilling to provoke public outrage, let alone now.
