Background / History

Su Xianling comes to the Nott City Spirit Hall branch while continuing her own training. The branch head asks her to instruct the newly recruited Chu Heng. Because she cannot formally accept an apprentice while her training is unfinished, she instead agrees to be his “big sister” and tests his resolve before taking responsibility for him 6.

She develops his physical conditioning, meditation, close combat, and ranged fighting. She also takes him into the Soul Hunting Forest, where she alternates between letting him survive independently and helping him search for suitable Spirit Rings 8 12 14 23 29. At the branch, she handles local requests and investigates the apparent diversion of restricted Spirit Hall crossbows after one is used in an attack at Nott Junior Soul Master Academy 31 34 35 36.
