Wu Feng grew up under the protection of the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Sect as Wu Lie’s only granddaughter. Ning Yunxiu prepared her to serve as Ning Tian’s personal bodyguard, valuing her reliable background, talent, and intense loyalty. Despite the sect’s declining younger generation, Wu Feng ranked among its three leading talents, behind Jiang Yu and Ning Tian 7 13 14.

When Jiang Yu entered Ning Tian’s circle, Wu Feng initially regarded him as an intruder. His relentless cultivation subsequently inspired a sect-wide training push, reducing the time Ning Tian spent relaxing with her. Wu Feng blamed him for the change and challenged him to a sparring match, only to be overwhelmed by his speed and attacks on vulnerable areas 12.

Monthly meetings to discuss cultivation helped turn their rivalry into a lasting friendship. Wu Feng and Jiang Yu continued to argue and chase one another, but their disputes became mostly harmless play. Alongside Ning Tian, they formed the Nine Treasure Trio 13 14.
