Background and History
Illusion Douluo is the younger sister of Ning Yunxiu’s grandmother. Yunxiu calls her Great-aunt, and Ning Tian calls her Great-great-aunt. She previously studied at Shrek Academy as one of the Shrek Seven Devils of her generation 11 31.
When Jiang Yu reported a hidden power within himself, she examined him with her spiritual power. She confirmed that the power existed and suspected a true-dragon connection, but could not identify it. She also warned Ning Yunxiu that Jiang Yu’s spiritual strength, developed spiritual sea, and mature mind were unusual for his age 11.
After the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan pursued the Heart of Space to Nine Treasure Mountain, Illusion Douluo intervened. She rejected its proposed marriage alliance, immobilized Yu Longwu with an illusion, and directed Ghost Blade to maim one of his companions. She then took the Heart of Space to inspect it for danger before giving it to Jiang Yu 19 20. Its resistance injured her during the investigation 21.
Following an incident involving the sect’s three students at Shrek Academy, she confronted Yan Shaozhe and demanded substantial compensation. She rejected Xuan Zi’s first compromise and threatened extreme retaliation if the children had been harmed. Mu En ultimately accepted her requested compensation and offered additional guarantees for their treatment at Shrek 30 31 32 33. Illusion Douluo then allocated the resulting Soul Bones and instructed the students on their next cultivation steps 34.
Appearance
She has a youthful face despite being at least 150 years old. At Nine Treasure Mountain, she appears in a long silver dress with matching silver hair 19 30.

Personality
Illusion Douluo is sharp-tongued and quick to take offense, particularly when her age or the sect’s standing is slighted. She teases and disciplines the younger members of the sect, but is fiercely protective when they face an outside threat 19 20 30 32. She tells Mu En that forcing herself to maintain a calmer disposition hindered her cultivation, so she prefers to live comfortably while awaiting the insight needed for a breakthrough 32.
