Tiga Instantly Defeated Two Monsters

Elsewhere, the Soul Engineers of the Sun Moon Continent watched Big Ivan's power with eyes shining.

They rolled up their sleeves, eager to build a Soul Tool that could rival Big Ivan. Enthusiasm for Soul Tool research across the Sun Moon Continent reached new heights.

If the Sky Curtain vanished now, and the two continents collided ten thousand years later,

the Douluo Continent would probably be trampled by the Sun Moon Continent.

Just when everyone thought that terrifying attack would destroy Golza...

Roar!

With a furious bellow, Golza charged out of the mushroom cloud.

Burns marked its body, but judging by the way it moved, they were little more than flesh wounds.

Countless onlookers gasped at the sight.

The scene changed again. The view swept toward the enormous Pyramid, where the members of GUTS arrived in WING 1 and WING 2. They found the legendary Golden Pyramid where the Giants of Light lay dormant—and discovered three giant stone statues inside.

Before they could investigate the statues, the ground shook with a deafening rumble. Golza and Melba had arrived together.

A purple Ultrasonic Ray gathered at Golza's forehead and slammed into the Pyramid's wall. The Golden Pyramid, formed of light, began to collapse and soon vanished completely.

The two monsters advanced one after the other, clawing and trampling the dormant giants' statues at will. Two of the three statues shattered into rubble in an instant. Only the last remained intact.

The destruction of the Giants of Light's statues made every heart on the Douluo Continent clench. Though they came from another world, everyone felt for its people.

Besides, Douluo Star had no movies or television. Most people watching now imagined themselves in the place of the humans of the Ultraman Tiga World.

A stifled anger rose in their hearts, and they silently hoped someone would stop the two monsters.

The Soul Beasts felt the exact opposite. They naturally saw things from the monsters' perspective and wished the monsters would kill more humans.

Daigo flew WING 1 forward alone to stop them, but a Melba Beam from Melba's mouth struck the fighter's wing. WING 1 spun out of control and plunged toward the ground.

Golza raised its massive foot and brought it down with crushing force on the last statue, intent on grinding it to pieces.

Just as everyone was about to lose hope,

with WING 1 moments from hitting the ground, Daigo's body became a brilliant golden beam. It broke free of the falling fighter and flew straight into the chest of the last intact giant statue.

At the last possible instant, the statue crossed its arms before its body and withstood Golza's full-force stomp. The ground caved in violently, sending stones flying in every direction.

The next moment, dazzling white light burst from the statue, and it transformed into Ultraman Tiga.

Tiga threw his arms forward with sudden force, hurling the 68,000-ton Golza away. It crashed heavily onto the wasteland several kilometers away.

When the 68,000-ton Golza struck the ground from that height, the earth shook and split open as though a magnitude-seven earthquake had hit.

Tiga stood upright and looked down at his enormous hands, patterned in silver and red. He seemed stunned by his own body.

Before he could grow accustomed to it, the two monsters roared in fury.

Golza rose from the ground while Melba circled overhead, and both attacked at once. Melba fired a scorching Melba Beam. From Golza's forehead surged an Ultrasonic Ray several times thicker than before. Both devastating beams struck Tiga's body together.

Everyone on Douluo Star felt their hearts leap into their throats. They had just watched Golza's beam tear through mountain after mountain. Now it was even stronger, and everyone expected the newly awakened giant to be gravely wounded.

But the two beams raised only a faint halo of energy where they hit Tiga. He stood motionless, without the slightest sign of injury.

At that, Golza and Melba poured more power into their beams.

After several silent seconds, Tiga slowly turned his head. His golden eyes fixed on Melba in the sky.

In the next instant, Tiga moved too fast for the eye to follow. He crossed his arms before his chest, unleashing a blue-and-white Zeperion Beam. It surged back along Melba's crimson beam, overwhelmed it in an instant, and struck Melba's massive body.

Boom! Melba's enormous body exploded in midair, scattering fragments across the sky.

Seeing its companion die in an instant, Golza grew afraid. It abandoned the fight and turned to burrow underground.

Tiga glanced at the fleeing Golza. He raised his right hand to his chest, formed a blinding white sphere of light, and hurled it toward the tunnel entrance.

The huge sphere erupted in blinding light as it hit the ground. A deafening roar filled the sky and earth as it swelled rapidly to over a kilometer across, its glare swallowing the entire wasteland.

When the white light slowly faded, all that remained was a vast hemispherical crater over a kilometer wide. Golza had vanished without a trace.

With both monsters defeated, Tiga glanced at the GUTS members on the ground. His body dissolved into countless tiny golden motes that scattered through the air.

Half a minute later, Daigo ran out from behind a boulder and waved excitedly to his teammates.

All of Douluo Star fell deathly silent. Countless beings stared blankly up at the Sky Curtain, replaying the giant's effortless defeat of the two monsters in their minds. Only after a long while did discussion erupt across the planet.

Within the shattered Light God Kingdom, Su He watched the beings of the Douluo Continent below gaze up in fervent awe. He nodded in satisfaction. Faith Power streamed through the plane's barrier into his body, nourishing his damaged Light God Divinity.

Yet within moments, Su He sensed something wrong. The Faith Power flowing into him fell far short of what he had expected.

More puzzling still, Soul Masters made up a far greater share of those providing Faith Power than ordinary civilians. Something was clearly amiss.

Su He focused his attention on Douluo Star and soon found the cause.

Ultimately, ordinary civilians on the Douluo Continent had no clear grasp of what such power meant.

In their eyes, a Titled Douluo could move mountains and seas with ease. Perhaps one would be no weaker than the monsters in the Sky Curtain.

Many ordinary people were still debating whether the Giants of Light and the monsters could even defeat a Titled Douluo.

That doubt greatly diminished their admiration, so the Faith Power born of their awe of strength was naturally meager.

But every high-level Soul Master who had reached Soul Emperor, Soul Saint, or beyond knew that a Titled Douluo could never move mountains and seas. Tiga and the monsters had long surpassed mortal limits; perhaps only someone who had reached level one hundred and become a god could compare. Their admiration was therefore pure, and the Faith Power they produced was far more potent than that of ordinary people.

Once he understood the cause, a new plan immediately took shape in Su He's mind.

Faith often began with the soul's instinctive pursuit of light in its darkest hour.

When someone stood on the brink of despair, even a faint glimmer of hope could ignite fierce conviction. Faith forged from such intense emotion was the strongest and purest.

Yet not all faith arose from deliverance out of suffering.

When people had no clear longing or goal of their own, reverence for another became their chief source of faith.

That reverence took the form of admiration for someone's character, or awe of and reliance on their overwhelming power.

Since ordinary people could not grasp the might of the Ultramen and monsters firsthand,

he would let them see what happened when the Titled Douluo they considered godlike entered Tiga's world—and how Golza and Melba would crush them like minor foes.
