Though the backlash had defeated Bibi Dong, the brief erosion of her Death Domain had still affected Golza.

Golza shook its massive head in confusion, its advance faltering for an instant.

The Snow Empress reacted at once, flying forward to catch the falling Bibi Dong.

But in that split second, Golza's thick tail swept toward them!

The blow carried far more force than the casual swipes it had used against Qian Daoliu and Bo Saixi. It came with enough power to destroy everything in its path.

The Snow Empress dodged with all her might, but the wind from the tail still clipped her.

Of the ten who had arrived, only Di Tian could still fight.

Di Tian threw back his head and let out a long, desolate roar.

He bore the destiny of restoring the Dragon Clan, yet he had never felt so powerless or hopeless.

"I, Di Tian, am destined to restore the Dragon Clan!"

With his back to the wall, Di Tian held nothing back. He revealed his true form in full!

In a standoff, presence came first. Show weakness, and the enemy would attack. He could not lose this contest of nerve.

The next moment, Golza raised its head and roared viciously.

"Roar—"

Di Tian refused to be outdone. He roared at the sky, his dragon cry shaking heaven and earth.

"Awooo—"

One beast's roar. One dragon's cry.

Dragon and beast faced off from a distance, roaring at each other. Neither made the first move.

They were like two toy poodles barking at each other in the street, locked in a stalemate.

Meanwhile, the situation on the other side of the battlefield changed abruptly.

Melba fired a Melba Beam that struck WING 1's wing.

The fighter jet caught fire and spun out of control, plummeting toward the ground at Speed.

At the critical moment, Daigo became a brilliant streak of golden light, broke free from his body, and flew straight into Tiga's stone statue.

The Giant of Light, dormant for thirty million years, awoke with a thunderous jolt!

At the sight, Golza instantly abandoned its standoff with Di Tian. Red light concentrated on its forehead, and it fired an Ultrasonic Ray straight at him!

Di Tian was prepared. He immediately withdrew his true form, returned to human shape, and dodged with everything he had, narrowly escaping the killing blow.

He did not dare linger. Di Tian plunged into the forest, frantically digging through the earth to hide deep underground at Speed.

Golza swept its Ultrasonic Ray downward.

It slammed into the forest where Di Tian had fled.

Boom!

Within a few breaths, the entire forest was flattened. Mountains shattered, and soil and stone melted away.

Deep underground, Di Tian fled for his life and survived by the narrowest of margins.

On the other side of the battlefield, Tiga dispatched Melba with a flying kick after awakening.

Then he turned toward Golza.

Seeing its ally was dead, Golza immediately tried to dig its way to safety. But it could not have escaped even if it had fled earlier, let alone now that Tiga had locked onto it.

A dozen or so seconds later, Tiga, now in Daigo's favorite mode, beat Golza to death with his fists.

As the battle ended, Tiga's gaze fell on the critically wounded Snow Empress in the distance. Light shimmered at his fingertips, and a gentle, pure healing beam descended upon her.

Light washed over her. In an instant, all her grave injuries healed, and she returned to peak condition.

With that done, Tiga gave a slight nod. His body dissolved into countless particles of light and vanished.

The entire scene was displayed through the Sky Curtain before everyone on the Douluo Continent.

All the Soul Beasts on Douluo Star stared in disbelief.

As far as they knew, humans and Soul Beasts were born enemies. And from what they had seen on the Sky Curtain, Tiga clearly stood on humanity's side.

Yet this Giant of Light had just healed a badly wounded Soul Beast!
