History
Broken immortal path
The Canglan Realm’s surviving history contains a vast gap: ancient records and traditions were destroyed in a catastrophe, leaving its Heavenly Dao damaged and its laws incomplete 1. No Great Emperor has appeared or cultivator ascended for generations, a crisis that brings the aging Holy Master Ji Changkong close to despair 1 2.
Su Chen exploits that gap by projecting a vision of the Desolate Ancient Heavenly Court’s fall. Ji and the Holy Land’s elders accept the vision as an explanation for the severed path to immortality. Their belief begins to imprint the Heavenly Court myth on Canglan’s laws 1 2. After a planted fragment is discovered in Sorrowwind Valley, Su Chen pronounces its inscription, “Southern Heaven”; the realm’s Heavenly Dao then accepts the object into its historical causality 3 4.
Center of the returning myth
Lin Qiye’s inheritance of Yang Jian’s power and Su Chen’s projection across thirty-seven worlds draw attention to Canglan 7 9. Fleets approach to seize Lin’s inheritance, but the Netherworld’s public capture of True Lord Kurong sends the hostile powers into retreat. Once dismissed as a lesser realm, Canglan becomes a pilgrimage destination associated with the Heavenly Court and Netherworld 10 11 12.
The Zixiao Palace revelations deepen that change. After its first lecture, Xuanmen teachings spread, Ji Changkong advances to half-step Human Immortal, and Canglan is revered as a holy land of Xuanmen 19 20. Su Chen’s system reports that the realm’s Heavenly Dao has been overwritten by the Primordial Heavenly Dao he created 19.
Heavenly Court order
The complete Southern Heavenly Gate makes Canglan the destination for Xuanmen practitioners from other worlds. Lin Qiye invites those who accumulate merit to enter under Heavenly Court protection, while the Primordial Xuanmen checks pilgrims’ Merit Ledgers before admitting them 26 27. Su Chen subsequently manifests the Investiture of the Gods Heavenly Ranking and God-Striking Whip above the gate, announcing a calamity tied to the Heavenly Court’s vacant divine posts 27 28.
After the first regulated calamity battle, Su Chen decides the worlds are too scattered. He uses Buzhou Mountain as an axis to draw together Canglan, other realms, and star domains into the Four Great Continents; the account does not assign Canglan a separate continent of its own 33.
