Background and History

Su Chen arrived in the Canglan Realm three years before the story begins. Lacking exceptional cultivation aptitude or a powerful background, he took a low-profile post tending the Primeval Holy Land's Scripture Pavilion. When the dormant Myth Editing System activated, he spent its initial 100 Karma Points on an illusion of the Desolate Ancient Heavenly Court's fall. Holy Lord Ji Changkong and the sect's elders accepted the vision as an explanation for the severed path to immortality, generating the belief Su Chen needed to expand his myth 1 2.

To give that vision apparent physical proof, Su Chen planted a fabricated Southern Heavenly Gate fragment in Sorrowwind Valley. When the Canglan Realm's Heavenly Dao began examining it, he publicly supplied its name, “Southern Heaven,” causing the relic to be accepted into the realm's history. Ji Changkong mistook his knowledge for evidence that he was an ancient being or Heavenly Court guide and promoted him to Special Guest Elder 2 3 4 5.

Su Chen then chose the injured former prodigy Lin Qiye as his agent and arranged for him to receive Yang Jian's inheritance. Lin's recovery and public feats reinforced the Heavenly Court myth while returning karmic rewards to Su Chen.
