Background and History
Nawaki is Tsunade’s younger brother and Mito Uzumaki’s grandson. He earns full marks at the Ninja Academy and hopes to become Hokage. Tsunade, remembering a future in which he dies during the Second Great Ninja War, resolves to protect him 4.
Tsunade trains Nawaki in taijutsu, then discovers his talent for the Flying Thunder God Technique when he tries it despite her refusal. She begins training him alongside Minato Namikaze 34 40 41.
