Sasuke Uchiha said coldly, "Idiot, if Cangyue-sensei finds out, don't even think about getting back alive."

"Tch. Sasuke, you want to know what's in Cangyue-sensei's bag too, don't you?" Naruto Uzumaki pouted.

"Don't lump me in with you." Sasuke Uchiha folded his arms and closed his eyes as if he couldn't care less. In truth, he was sneaking glances at the black backpack beside them.

He was curious.

He really did want to know what a powerhouse like Cangyue-sensei packed for a long trip.

Naruto Uzumaki rubbed his hands together and licked his lips. "Sakura, forget that stuck-up guy. Let's see what amazing treasures Cangyue-sensei has in his bag!"

"I'm not interested either. If Cangyue-sensei gets mad, don't drag us into it." Sakura Haruno sounded annoyed, but she watched the backpack with open curiosity.

I get to satisfy my curiosity, and Naruto takes the blame if anything goes wrong.

"Tch, I'll look myself." Naruto Uzumaki opened the backpack, took out its contents, and laid three items in front of them.

Lollipops.

A diary.

A little box.

"A box?" Naruto Uzumaki pushed the lollipops aside, picked up the exquisite silver-white box, and opened it with a curious look.

Sasuke Uchiha stared hard at the box as Naruto slowly lifted its lid.

"Could there really be treasure inside?" Sakura Haruno grew tense and swallowed.

If the box is this fancy, there must be something valuable inside, right?

Could it be... a ring?

Naruto Uzumaki stopped opening the box and gave Sasuke and Sakura Haruno an exasperated look. "You both said you weren't interested, but you sure look interested to me."

Sasuke Uchiha's face reddened slightly. "Hmph."

"Hurry up and open it!" Sakura Haruno urged.
