In Konoha: Choose One of Three at the Start

Liuyun looked at the three options and chose the second without hesitation.

Showing off? That was why I came here in the first place. As the saying went, if you got transported into Naruto and didn't show off or win over any girls, the whole trip was a waste.

With that thought, he ignored the Rain Ninja around him and stepped forward. Ice formed beneath his foot and spread wildly in every direction.

It was like a tiny white spot appearing on a sheet of brown paper, then covering the whole sheet in the blink of an eye.

Ice gathered around Liuyun, surging in waves as though it awaited his command.

The Rain Ninja who had been alive moments ago had all become ice sculptures.

Liuyun walked on, a rolling tide of ice following close behind him like he was the god of winter, master of the bitter cold.

"Ice Release? From Konoha? Don't tell me he's Uchiha Liuyun, the one who's been giving the Sand Ninja hell these past few days?"

Narakus of the Salamander frowned. His expression turned grim at once.

"Go! Get Chief Hanzō over here. Tell him we've run into a terrifying enemy!"

Naraku gave the order to a Rain Ninja behind him.

"Got it! I'm going now!" The Rain Ninja hurried away.

"Everyone, attack! Use your best Ninjutsu!" Narakus of the Salamander growled as Liuyun strolled ever closer.

"Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique!"

"Wind Release: Sickle Weasel!"

The Amegakure Ninja unleashed their strongest Ninjutsu one after another.

But however many techniques they used, none had the slightest effect on Liuyun.

As attacks filled the sky, a wave of ice surged out from behind him.

It blocked every attack coming his way.

Then his unhurried voice carried through the entire Rain Ninja camp and spread across the battlefield.

"Once I grew tired of searching, I learned to find what I sought at a glance; once a headwind struck, I learned to withstand winds from every direction and sail on."

His deep voice rang out as though reciting words handed down through the ages, shaking everyone who heard it.

"That sounded imposing as hell. And arrogant as hell! It makes me want to hit him," Nara Beigen muttered.

"You're not alone," Yamanaka Rookie said.

"I thought Lord Liuyun didn't have the Uchiha Clan's arrogance. Looks like we were wrong!"

"He's mastered Bragging Release to its absolute peak!"

A Konoha Ninja sighed in admiration.

"Commander, isn't that brat showing off a bit too much?" a Rain Ninja complained.

I've lived this long and never shown off like that. You might be enjoying yourself, but we're sure as hell not.

Narakus of the Salamander gave him an odd look and sighed. "His surname is Uchiha."

"Uchiha? Oh! That explains it!"

The Red Eye Disease Clan were either showing off or on their way to do it. Just look at Madara Uchiha!

At this rate, the kid might even catch up to his ancestor Madara Uchiha in Bragging Release!

As the battlefield buzzed with discussion, the wave of ice blocking Liuyun's path parted and gathered behind him.

Across from him, Narakus of the Salamander's mouth twitched. The Rain Ninja gritted their teeth. If they could have beaten the brat, they would have taught him a lesson.

A small boat made of ice appeared beneath Liuyun's feet.

Mysterious runes were carved densely across its hull.

A lifelike dragon's head adorned its bow. It had neither sail nor oars.

All it had was a young man standing with his hands behind his back, looking down on everyone with indifference.

The crystal-clear ice boat moved slowly forward at Liuyun's will.

Under the sunlight, its mysterious runes shone in seven colors.

He really was sailing on!

"Fuck! I can't take it anymore! Who the hell shows off this much?" a hot-tempered Rain Ninja roared.

His hands flew through Hand Seals as dense Chakra gathered around him!

"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"

Water surged beside the ninja, and a huge water dragon rose into the air, lunging at Liuyun.

"Kid, showing off might run in your family, but I fucking love beating people who show off!"

"Here's a piece of advice: don't show off, or you'll get mobbed!"

The Rain Ninja grinned viciously, savoring the moment.

It was as if he had finally killed the brat before him!

The next instant, the Sand Ninja's laughter cut off.

The oppressive water dragon had barely reached Liuyun when he pointed a finger.

In an instant, it became a lifelike Ice Dragon.

Liuyun pointed again. The Ice Dragon came to life, baring its claws as it circled behind him.

Narakus of the Salamander looked at the Rain Ninja in the distance as though he were an idiot and shook his head.

"Is the chief here yet?"

"I don't sense the chief anywhere!" a sensory Rain Ninja answered.

"Fire Release and Earth Release users, attack! Lightning Release users too! Hit Uchiha Liuyun with your strongest techniques!" Narakus of the Salamander ordered, his eyes flickering.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"

"Earth Release: Earth Flow River!"

"Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!"

At Narakus of the Salamander's command, the Rain Ninja launched their second round of attacks.

Unfortunately, they were facing Liuyun. They were nowhere near his level!

The Fire Release techniques burned hot enough to set the air ablaze, but the waves of ice around Liuyun snuffed them out the moment they arrived.

The rushing Earth Release: Earth Flow River froze solid into sculptures of every shape.

Lightning conducted through ice? Sorry. It was snuffed out too!

At last, the terrifying power of Ice Release was laid bare before everyone.

This was what it meant to be invincible. This was the power of a Kekkei Genkai!

Seeing Liuyun effortlessly block every attack once again, Narakus of the Salamander's face darkened.

Just as he was about to order a retreat, Liuyun's black eyes abruptly turned crimson.

"Sharingan!"

Before he could say another word, his eyes went blank for a moment. Then he roared in fury.

"Attack! Kill him! Dead or alive, I don't care! Kill him! Kill that show-off!"

The Rain Ninja, already furious with Liuyun, charged at Naraku's shout.

Kunai, Shuriken, and all manner of Ninjutsu filled the sky!

The ice boat glided onward, Ice Dragons circling on either side. With his unshakably calm expression, Liuyun looked every bit a master above worldly concerns.

"Ice Age!"

Liuyun's low shout rang out.

The surging waves of ice behind him rushed forward like a raging torrent.

Crack! Crack!

Everything in their path turned white.

The charging Rain Ninja became ice sculptures in an instant, each as exquisite as a work of art.

There were ice trees, ice grass, ice flowers...

Within a thousand-meter radius, everything became a World of Ice!

Just as the spreading ice was about to reach the Konoha camp, it suddenly turned.

It swept around the camp and the Konoha Ninja, then continued spreading outward.

The ice boat rocked gently yet moved at great speed, soon arriving before Narakus of the Salamander.

Liuyun looked at the ice sculpture before him and sighed. "Dying to my Ice Release is no disgrace."

He swept his gaze over the World of Ice around him, its landscape draped in silver and white.

Liuyun could not help but sigh in admiration. His unhurried voice rose once more.

"I fought my way across three thousand miles and wiped out Amegakure with one hand!"

"I am the Ice Emperor! I shall crush every enemy!"

His words rolled across the battlefield like thunder. The Konoha Ninja who had been vying to introduce their daughters and nieces to Liuyun promptly abandoned the idea.

Yep, that's an Uchiha. Better not push our daughters and nieces into that fire pit.

"Nara Beigen, clean up the battlefield. I'm going to find Tsunade and the others!"

His voice drifted back again, sounding much more normal this time.

Only Nara Beigen gave him a strange look. What battlefield was there to clean up when everyone had been turned into ice sculptures?

Were they supposed to search the Rain Ninja for supplies? Forget it. They could spend all day trying to break those sculptures and still fail.

But Liuyun was strong enough to do as he pleased, so Nara Beigen had no choice but to obey.

"Everyone, clean up the battlefield!"

By then, Liuyun had ridden his little boat into the Land of Rain.

The ground froze wherever the boat passed.
