Ch. 421Aren’t Brothers Meant to Be Sold Out in a Pinch? / Too Slow
Key plot points and events
- Robin chooses a book of stories at a shop while the island shakes. She and Brook notice the shopkeeper staring toward the island’s rear and realize someone is using the Float-Float Fruit.
- Kuta quickly arrives at the scene, with Kuina appearing in a burst of blue lightning. They find Pressure Hyde testing his new powers by manipulating the island near a ship and the Mother Tree.
- Hyde recognizes Kuta as the man who killed two Emperors and immediately sees that fighting him is hopeless. His first mate, Jobiro, also recognizes Kuina and senses another dangerous presence nearby.
- Hyde pretends to admire Kuta and asks for an autograph, secretly waiting for an opening. When Kuta turns away, Hyde traps him inside a rising stone enclosure and launches himself into the sky to escape.
- Kuta appears above Hyde and kicks him back down at tremendous speed. Hyde crashes into the enclosure, which explodes into rubble and shakes the island.

- Jobiro is terrified by Kuta and Kuina’s overwhelming presence and does not dare warn his captain.
- Robin and Brook share a quiet, curious moment over Robin’s book before the commotion draws their attention.
- Kuina arrives confidently, her presence enough to frighten the ship’s crew and restrain Jobiro.
