Qian Renxue enters the Heaven Dou imperial palace as an undercover agent while still very young. She later takes the original Xue Qinghe’s place, maintaining the crown prince’s identity while handling government affairs and navigating palace relationships. These responsibilities leave her little opportunity for a carefree childhood and slow her cultivation 51 72.

Her objective is to become emperor of the Heaven Dou Empire, but she regards the throne as a means rather than an end. She wants a people-first nation where ordinary citizens have homes, livelihoods, and peaceful lives; her broader ambition extends across the entire continent 50.

Meeting Ling Han

After learning that an unusually young Titled Douluo has joined Heaven Dou Royal Academy, Qian Renxue arranges to meet Ling Han. She proceeds despite She Long’s concerns, securing Light Feather Douluo’s hidden protection beforehand 31.

Their first conversation establishes mutual goodwill. Ling Han approves of her governing ideals and calls her “an angel,” making her wonder whether he has discovered her identity. He has, in fact, seen through her disguise immediately, but chooses not to expose her 32.

Over the following years, she frequently visits him for advice and invites him to dinner at the Eastern Palace. Her interest combines political respect for his strength with personal attraction. After more than a month apart, Qian Renxue becomes distracted and loses her appetite from missing Ling Han. Light Feather Douluo seeks him out on her behalf. When Ling Han returns, he apologizes and promises to leave a spiritual imprint that will let her contact him during future absences 71 72.
