Shui Yuerou is composed and resistant to intimidation. Yu Xiaogang’s reputation as “Grandmaster” does not persuade her to grant him an audience with Long Yao or resources beyond Skywater Academy’s agreement. She distinguishes the academy’s obligations to guests from their demands for special treatment 20 21 22.

Her loyalty to Long Yao is deeply reverent. She reports the academy’s adherence to his founding instructions and refrains from pressing him about his age, strength, or private affairs. Nevertheless, she asks practical questions when the academy’s safety is involved, including whether the Evil Emperor or Spirit Hall might threaten it 13 16 22 37.

Shui Yuerou introduces Shui Bing’er to the academy’s founding legend: successive deputy headmasters have managed the institution for thousands of years, awaiting the founder’s return when the True Dragon Tower shines again. When the tower awakens and Long Yao appears, she recognizes him, formally welcomes him, and reports that the academy has maintained stable enrollment and followed his low-profile policy 13.

She then informs him that Skywater has already agreed to a cultivation exchange with Shrek Academy. Although she offers to cancel the arrangement at his request, Long Yao approves the visit 14.

Witness to the Golden Ranking

Watching the ranking beside Long Yao, Shui Yuerou learns of the Sun Moon Continent and questions whether the Evil Emperor could endanger Skywater. Long Yao reassures her that he will not 16.

The Snow Empress’s showcase further changes her understanding of the headmaster. She learns that Long Yao taught the Snow Empress and bestowed her extraordinary skill, then receives his personal confirmation that he is the figure revealed on the ranking 25 26 28.

Dispute with Shrek Academy

Following Long Yao’s instruction to receive Shrek normally, Shui Yuerou refuses Yu Xiaogang an unauthorized audience and rejects requests for additional resources. She maintains that Skywater has agreed to provide cultivation areas, not unrestricted support 20 21 22.
