Background / History

Realm of Longevity

Bai He entered the Realm of Longevity intending to gain the greatest possible benefit during his limited projection period. Knowing Xiao Chen’s character and future potential, he deliberately sought to become Xiao Chen’s disciple, first earning his goodwill through a fabricated story about their apparent resemblance 5 6.

After awakening on an isolated island, Bai He received food, protection, and instruction from Xiao Chen. He learned the Heavenly Tablet Mystic Skill, quickly completing its Qi-refining diagrams and displaying aptitude that impressed his master 8 9.

His Dragon bloodline emerged after he devoured a dragon egg and gained the Eight-Armed Evil Dragon as a symbiotic dragon soul. On Dragon Island, however, the Heavenly Tablet’s anti-dragon suppression restricted his True Qi production and held him at a pseudo-Mortal Shedding stage 13.

Refining a Dragon Crystal transformed Bai He’s body, created a Deified Acupoint in his Zhongting Acupoint, and enabled the Eight-Armed Evil Dragon Soul to evolve his form. He gained the complete divine power Summoning Wind and Rain, Overturning Rivers and Seas, then named his altered state the Hidden Dragon Transformation 21 22.

Yan Qingcheng interrogated him over his origins and dragon tattoo. Bai He disclosed only that he came from the Human Realm, then resisted her attempts to recruit him as a disciple because he considered Xiao Chen his master 28 29. Despite their difficult beginning, Bai He later resolved his conflict with Yan Qingcheng; she came to regard him as her husband 42.

Tomb of the Gods

After projection fusion restored his Dragon traits in his main body, Bai He reached Mortal Shedding Ninth Heaven and formed another Zhongting Deified Acupoint 71. In the Tomb of the Gods world, the Heavenly Tablet Mystic Skill could strengthen his body and refine energy but initially could not produce True Qi due to differing world laws 94.

Living under the identity of a hunter in Tian Yuan Town, he protected and provided for Gu Da Niang, the mother of the body he inhabited. He became captain of the local hunting team after demonstrating overwhelming strength against Magical Beasts 96 100.

Chen Nan taught Bai He the Summoning Devil Scripture. Bai He used the system to merge it with the Heavenly Tablet Mystic Skill, creating the Myriad Transformations Spirit Nurturing Scripture, a method capable of refining soul fragments and nurturing his Emperor Dragon Soul 99 100.

He later aided Dragon Girl Honglian’s transformation by expending his own Life Essence, earning her loyalty. After refining the Blazing Immortal Lotus, he recovered much of that loss and condensed another Deified Acupoint 133.

Bai He became the Chu Kingdom’s Imperial Son-in-Law through his marriage to Princess Chu Yu. Before leaving the world, he prepared cultivation methods to help the Profound Ancestor regain youth and to sever Chu Yu’s connection to the Seven Absolutes Celestial Woman’s remnant souls. Chu Yu was pregnant when he returned to his main body 133 152.

Under One Person

In the Under One Person world, Bai He befriended Liu Yanyan after recognizing her connection to the Xiangxi Corpse Herding lineage. Although he initially viewed her potential and family techniques strategically, he protected her against the Under Heaven Society and later called her his first human friend in that world 181 188 196.

He revealed his Emperor Dragon Body to the Liu Family, subdued their Clan Guardian Corpse, and declared that he came from another world. He then offered the family a choice between submission and destruction while pursuing his plan to transform the world’s weak cultivation environment 196 197.

Bai He spread Ability Seeds through Huaxia; by the end of the arc, nearly one-fifth of the population carried them, fundamentally changing the world’s future power structure 238.

Wind and Cloud

Bai He entered the Wind and Cloud world to restore the Life Essence in his Deified Acupoints. After befriending and subduing the Fire Kirin, he discovered Xuanyuan Huangdi’s remains and the Nine Provinces Dragon Vein in Lingyun Cave 293 296 297.

The Dragon Vein merged with his Emperor Dragon Soul, passed Xuanyuan Huangdi’s memories to him, and called on him to save Huaxia. Bai He buried Xuanyuan Huangdi’s ashes with respect, then chose to become Human Emperor and strengthen the world 299 300.

He forced the Great Liang Emperor’s abdication, took the throne, and later renamed the realm Great Qian, assuming the title Qian Heavenly Emperor 303 304 318. His rule established an Inner Cabinet and Supervisory Platform, then expanded into the Heavenly Crafting Hall and Heavenly Martial Hall 304 368.

After defeating Xiong Ba and dismantling the Under Heaven Society’s resistance, Bai He unified the Nine Provinces. Conflict with the God Race

Despite this pragmatism, he maintains personal loyalties. He refused Yan Qingcheng’s offer of powerful cultivation because he would not betray Xiao Chen, and he accepted responsibility for Gu Da Niang and Chu Yu rather than abandoning them without preparation 29 100 152.
