Ten minutes later,
"Clan Leader Fugaku? You absolutely can't do that!"
Inoichi Yamanaka and Asuma both grew agitated after hearing Fugaku's account.
Even Shibi Aburame looked mildly astonished. He stared at Fugaku, unable to comprehend how the Uchiha Clan Leader could have such resolve.
"If something happens to them, your Uchiha will..."
Inoichi Yamanaka knew that to dissuade him, he had to approach it from his perspective.
Fugaku merely shook his head.
His voice remained firm.
"As Uchiha, they must be able to shoulder the burden."
"But-"
Inoichi Yamanaka and Asuma both fell silent.
In the end, they could only nod in agreement.
At that moment, their impression of Fugaku changed completely.
"I'll take my leave, then. I still need to check on Gua and the others."
With that, Fugaku left Asuma's tent.
When Fugaku reached the tent shared by Gua and the other two,
Gua was lying on the bed.
A Medical Ninja stood beside him, using chakra to examine his body.
Itachi and Kabuto sat nearby.
The two children looked exhausted as well.
Fugaku walked slowly over. He did not interrupt the Medical Ninja's examination, waiting quietly instead.
A moment later, the Medical Ninja withdrew his hands.
The green chakra dissipated with them.
"How is he?"
Only then did Fugaku speak.
"Extremely severe chakra depletion. Physically, there's nothing too serious, just some displaced bones. Under normal circumstances, he should be back to normal in a day or two."
The Medical Ninja paused, then added,
"There's something else. Uchiha Gua's body is very strange. His cellular activity is extremely high."
"Isn't that a good thing?"
Fugaku sounded puzzled.
High cellular activity meant Gua had strong innate talent, a strong constitution, and strong control over his chakra.
Yet the Medical Ninja shook his head.
"Not necessarily.
"Although Uchiha Gua's cellular
