By the time Gua woke up, it was broad daylight.
No one had woken him.
He was a patient now.
Gua instinctively got up off the ground.
He gave a contented yawn and prepared to head to the kitchen for something to eat.
He pulled open the tent flap.
Only then did he realize he was no longer at home. He was on the battlefield between Iwagakure and Konoha.
The summer wind swept hot, dry air into his face. Gua scratched his head. He thought he knew why he had dreamed about Obito.
Back then, Obito had been crushed to death on the battlefield between Konoha and Iwagakure.
"That really isn't a good omen."
Gua muttered, but still left the tent. Neither Kabuto nor Itachi was around, so he decided to see whether he could find some food at the supply station.
His stomach was growling.
But he hadn't gone far before he ran into Itachi and Kabuto.
Both of them looked visibly surprised to see him.
"Gua?"
Itachi's eyes widened slightly.

"You were still half-dead yesterday. How do you look so healthy today? I thought you'd be bedridden for half a month."

The corner of Gua's mouth twitched, but he didn't take it to heart.
He checked how his body felt.

Itachi circled Gua, examining him.
"You really have recovered."
"Why is that?"
