Background / History

Wu You underwent years of illness-driven training that left her muscular. Boys at school mocked her body and called her a “monster,” subjecting her to five years of bullying. Some came from wealthy, influential families, and neither teachers nor other adults intervened. She had no friends and concealed her physique beneath long sleeves 65.

During her first year of high school, Ye Chu—then a second-year student—stopped boys from striking her with a broom. He invoked the disciplinary committee and claimed police connections to frighten them away, then told her she could seek help from the committee. They had no further contact before meeting again in the survival game 65.

Wu You attended university far from home to escape the reputation imposed on her. She later reveals in her final thoughts that she is also Ye Chu’s junior at Peking University, something he does not know. Although she says she has made peace with the bullying, being drenched with water and having her muscles exposed brings those memories back 65 125.

During the Murder Mystery instance, her wolf-sensitive period makes her particularly irritable, and Huang He’s betrayal of Lu Rui repeatedly prompts her to threaten his corpse 23 33 73 74.

Her recklessness is not constant. In Ghost Opera Singer, she suppresses her urge to kill the old man because she fears disrupting Ye Chu’s investigation. In the Amnesia Maze, she notices Gao Ruxue’s distress but offers comfort without demanding an explanation 93 108.

Her companions’ acceptance helps her reject the shame attached to her body. In the final instance, she refuses to believe that they have abandoned her, openly acknowledges that she chose to face the monster, and values their survival above her own 125.
