Ye Xixuan was born into the Night Family, the strongest soul master clan in Heavenly Spirit City. Despite having a Titled Douluo protector, the family was annihilated overnight. His elders used their combined abilities to send him away and instructed him to seek refuge at Shrek Academy, preserving their bloodline. His recently awakened, mutated martial soul had made him the family’s hope 1.

During his escape, pain and hatred triggered the return of his previous-life memories. The shock to his Sea of Consciousness left him unconscious in the Heavenly Spirit Mountain Range, where Tang Ya rescued him. Although inexperienced and ultimately exhausted in his first match against Bei Bei, he adapts mid-battle and earns Bei Bei’s respect. Zhang Lexuan then becomes his regular cultivation guide 9 10.

His second soul-ring hunt in the Ming Dou Great Forest adds Shadow Domain and the Heavenly Spider Claws to his abilities. Soon afterward, an encounter with Ma Xiaotao reveals that absorbing evil energy can improve both his soul power and his existing rings 19 20 23 25.

Death Hand Bandit Group Mission

At ten, Ye Xixuan proposes eliminating the Death Hand Bandit Group. His stated reason is to experience real combat, but his private aim is to prevent another disaster involving Shrek’s elite students. Elder Song secretly accompanies the mission rather than leaving their safety to Xuan Zi 35.
