The three were rather excited when they spotted the village. Upon arriving, they saw an old farmer working in a field, with a marmot beside him helping hoe the soil. It looked like a Divine Weapon Beast. Yun Tian looked at Little Qing and Little Bai on his shoulders and said, "Little Qing, Little Bai, look, even this Divine Weapon Beast helps its master work. Once we settle down, you'll have to work too."
At that, Little Qing rolled their eyes, while Little Bai ignored him completely, shifted position, and went back to sleep.
Little Qing said, "Brother Tian, you could do it with a wave of your hand. Why insist on making us work?"
Yun Tian explained that if he used magic to solve everything in the future, even making meals with a wave of his hand, what fun would life hold? Besides, how could food conjured straight out of magic taste as good as something he made himself?
Little Qing thought it over. That did seem to make sense.
Yun Tian asked the old farmer a few questions, such as where Nangong City was and whether he knew of the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader. The old farmer said he had never heard of the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader, but he did know where Nangong City was.
"Ling'er, has the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader not shown up yet?"
"That's right. We arrived forty years before the plot begins. At this point, never mind the Heaven-Earth Alliance Leader-even the protagonist's mother, Yu Yan, is only in her teens."
Upon hearing this, Yun Tian said, "Holy crap, Yu Yan isn't even married yet! This is fantastic! Since Yu Yan isn't married yet, she's mine. And her older sister, Yu Feng, is mine too. Those two sisters are the pinnacle of beauty in Shenbing Kids! I was worried Nangong Yi had already ruined Yu Yan, but it turns out he hasn't. It's all because Nangong Yi is such trash. Although losing those fights was perfectly normal, Yun Tian declared that if he said Nangong Yi was useless, then Nangong Yi was useless.
As for the protagonist, Yun Tian had asked the system, and it would not have much of an impact. The Heavenly Dao would adjust the storyline, and Nangong Wentian and his sister were people chosen by destiny, so they would definitely be born as normal. That dispelled Yun Tian's concerns. He had worried that his presence might prevent the protagonist from being born, though he was mainly worried about Nangong Wenya. Now that everything was fine, he could rest easy.

In a small courtyard, beneath an osmanthus tree, Yun Tian lay on a lounge chair with a book in his hand. The cover read "Shenbing Kids."
"Ling'er, look, Little Bai and Little Qing are both lying down, so I have to lie down too. I can't be the odd one out. Besides, I'm not sleeping. I'm reading."
"Excuses, nothing but excuses. I think you're just lazy."
Ignoring Ling'er's nagging, Yun Tian watched the petals drift down from the tree. In the blink of an eye, three years had passed since he arrived in Nangong City. After first coming here, he had bought this courtyard and begun his life in this world. He had never expected time to pass so quickly.
Knock, knock, knock.
A knock sounded at the door. Without even lifting his head, Yun Tian called to Little Bai, "Little Bai, go open the door."
"Not going."
"If you don't go, I'll cut off your snacks for the month."
"Hmph! Mean Brother Tian, cutting off my snacks!"
Despite Little Bai's protests, their body was much more honest, and they obediently went to open the door.
The moment Little Bai opened the door, a figure rushed inside and swept a glance around the courtyard. Upon spotting Yun Tian beneath the osmanthus tree, the newcomer immediately ran over and leaped into his arms. Before Yun Tian could react, he felt a small, fluffy little thing nestled against his chest. He opened his eyes to find a little girl looking at him with wide eyes and a smile playing at the corners of her mouth.
