Miwa Chisei recovered from her exhausting search for Kenjaku’s urn, shared the investigation deposit with Toji Fushiguro, and was recommended for promotion to Grade 1. The chapter left her dismayed to learn that Satoru Gojo would examine her, while Gojo Yu celebrated his arrangement.
Satoru Gojo tried to use a dating-advice book to woo Miwa Chisei, but his attempts only angered her during her Special Grade promotion mission. He rescued her from a hidden Cursed Spirit, then made things worse by holding her in place as its blood splattered over her.
Miwa Chisei completed her promotion mission, but her clash with examiner Satoru Gojo left her angry and uncertain about their relationship. After Suguru Geto advised Satoru to put his kinder instincts first, Satoru decided to go apologize to her.
Miwa Chisei and Satoru Gojo reconciled and completed an assessment mission together, leaving them with one assignment before promotion. Kamo Tetsuya then persuaded Miwa Riona to place a Judgment on Ryomen Sukuna’s finger, secretly hoping she would endanger herself in the process.
Miwa Riona successfully attached Jujutsu to Ryomen Sukuna's finger, while Kamo Tetsuya looked forward to testing Miwa Chisei's growing abilities. Five days later, Miwa Chisei and Satoru Gojo faced a newly hatched special grade cursed spirit, and she discovered the wounded Gojo before her was an impostor.
Miwa Chisei trapped a special grade cursed spirit in her illusion and survived its attempt to destroy them both, but the encounter left her unconscious. In a vision, she witnessed a man sacrifice the Demon King's Eye to the Miwa family, then woke to a boy calling her name.
Miwa Chisei survived a special grade cursed spirit’s attack, recovered Sukuna’s Finger, and completed her promotion assessment. A week later, she was officially promoted to Grade 1 and became busy with missions.
On the first anniversary of Miwa Tatsuki’s death, Miwa Chisei visited his grave with Satoru Gojo, who tried to comfort her and promised to look after her. They left after paying their respects, bickering as usual.
Satoru Gojo struggled to fulfill his promise to make Miwa cry while he, Suguru Geto, and Shoko Ieiri talked about romance and Geto’s Special Grade assignment. Geto agreed to pursue the assignment so he could join Gojo on missions, though he privately felt the strain of keeping up with his friend.
Satoru Gojo interrupted Miwa Chisei and Kento Nanami as they secretly discussed how she could investigate a hospital during Nanami’s promotion mission. After Nanami clarified that he had no romantic interest in Miwa, Suguru Geto realized Gojo had misunderstood their relationship and went to stop him before the misunderstanding worsened.
After Miwa Chisei punched Satoru Gojo for pinching her cheek, Satoru was warned not to trick her into falling for him, but he remained intent on doing so. When the Jujutsu Higher-Ups assigned him to monitor Miwa Chisei as head of the Miwa Main Family, he decided to defy them rather than spy on her.
Miwa Riona revealed that Satoru Gojo was monitoring Miwa Chisei, but Chisei chose to trust him and wait for an explanation. Before Gojo could explain, he rushed her to help the badly injured Suguru Geto.
Miwa Chisei saved Suguru Geto with her Reverse Cursed Technique after he was gravely wounded, and he woke to wrestle with the betrayal of the pregnant woman he had tried to protect. Miwa urged him not to judge his choice by whether it had been worthwhile, but Suguru still struggled with that question as she left.
Suguru Geto became a Special Grade Sorcerer but seemed troubled, prompting Miwa Chisei to ask Satoru Gojo to keep an eye on him. Miwa later met Yuki Tsukumo, who had returned to exchange information and had already spoken with Geto.
Miwa Chisei learned that Suguru Geto had proposed eliminating ordinary people as a solution to cursed spirits, and she worried that Yuki Tsukumo’s ideas had pushed him toward an extreme. After Miwa called to check on him, Geto insisted he was fine, but he remained alone and troubled in his dormitory.
Miwa Chisei returned to Jujutsu High, accepted a solo Grade 1 mission from Satoru Gojo, and learned that he could now keep Limitless active all day. She then prepared to show Gojo a new ability of her own.
Miwa Chisei demonstrated how her Judgment technique could alter the time taken by physical movements, then learned that Yu Haibara had been killed on a mission. She rushed back to Jujutsu High, grieving the promise they would eat together.
Miwa Chisei attempted to bring the dead Yu Haibara back to life using the Miwa family's forbidden power. After a shadowy demon god took a vivid red wisp from her chest, Miwa stood unharmed, leaving Suguru Geto stunned by what she had done.
Miwa Chisei revived Yu Haibara after he had died, then concealed what happened from him and asked Shoko Ieiri to record it as suspended animation. As Haibara reunited with Kento Nanami and Suguru Geto, Geto wrestled with grief and resentment toward ordinary people, but ended the chapter grateful that Haibara was alive.
Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo realized Miwa Chisei had used a forbidden technique that cost her lifespan to bring Yu Haibara back to life. Miwa told Gojo she had acted willingly and asked him to keep the sacrifice secret.
Suguru Geto struggled with his growing disgust toward ordinary people as Miwa Chisei and Satoru Gojo discussed the nature of cursed spirits and human emotions. Their words forced Geto to question whether he truly wanted to pursue the path of eliminating ordinary people.
Suguru Geto found two abused girls during a mission and chose to protect them by reporting their captors to the police instead of killing the villagers. Satoru Gojo arrived after Miwa Chisei sent him to check on Geto, who ended the chapter grateful for his friends and determined to keep moving forward with them.
Suguru Geto rescued Mimiko and Nanako from abusive villagers, then returned to Jujutsu High and learned that Miwa Chisei’s fortune-telling had confirmed his choice of path. Satoru Gojo found Miwa in Geto’s room and mistakenly concluded they were dating, leaving both of them baffled.
Satoru Gojo teased Miwa Chisei about her feelings, but she insisted she felt nothing for him, Suguru Geto, or Nanami. Weeks later, Geto brought Miwa to visit Mimiko and Nanako at their orphanage, where he urged Miwa to show Satoru more care, leaving her shaken by the suggestion that Satoru was special to her.
Satoru Gojo celebrated his eighteenth birthday by booking a mountain hot spring inn and gathering his classmates, while Miwa Chisei enjoyed the outing without knowing he had deliberately excluded Miwa Riona from the group chat. At the end, Satoru Gojo demanded birthday presents, expecting Miwa Chisei to have forgotten hers, but her thoughtful gift left him dumbfounded.
