Larvitar swallowed it in a single gulp.
In an instant, Larvitar felt the stone in his stomach fill him up and refine his body.
Soon, the green of Larvitar's body became much deeper.
But Lin Guang could sense that Larvitar had not completely used up the crystal condensed from the Power Stone's energy. It was still slowly strengthening Larvitar's body in subtle ways.
"Not bad. Don't disappoint me."

They encountered Pokémon such as Geodude and Rattata along the way, but none of the three had any intention of catching them, so they continued up the mountain.
Before long, the three discovered a cave.
"It looks like a cave left by miners. This should let us get through Mt. Moon faster, too."

They had not gone far into the cave before they saw mining lamps on the walls and stones of various sizes along the sides. There were even a pickaxe or two left inside the mine.
"Looks like I guessed right. Let's keep going. We might even encounter some rare Pokémon deep inside Mt. Moon. Maybe we'll pick up a Moon Stone or two as well."
