Taiki and his allies infiltrated Moonlight Myotismon's castle to find a way past its barrier and destroy its power core. The barrier fell, and Kiriha led MetalGreymon into the attack as Taiki and Yin Yin fought Moonlight Myotismon inside.

• Calumon comforted Black Terriermon, easing their sorrow and stopping the fighting near Chocomon's village.
• After Lady FlameDevimon and her Lady Devimon were destroyed, Taiki proposed infiltrating Moonlight Myotismon's castle to disable its barrier.

• Zheng Fan positioned Mongemon, Tortomon, and the other noncombat Digimon to distract Moonlight Myotismon, then launched Shoutmon into his body with the Dorulumon Cannon to reach MetalGreymon.

• Hawkmon and Yūjin arrived seeking Mercurymon’s help against two humans in Rosemon’s territory, and Zheng Fan agreed to go with them.
• Marcus Damon and Thomas explained that they were DATS agents pursuing Drillmon, but Yūjin accused them of poaching Digimon and attacked.

After the group returned through the Portal, Marcus was caught in a DATS restraint, and Thomas eventually emerged safely.

• Thomas showed Zheng Fan Drillmon’s contaminated Digi-Egg, and its black patterns attacked Zheng Fan as Marcus Damon punched him without effect.
• Zheng Fan contained the contamination and said he would visit the Human World, but Thomas and Marcus Damon refused to authorize his entry and insisted humans should handle their own problems.
• Zheng Fan persuaded Yuto to consider humanity, and Thomas and Marcus Damon joined in before leaving through the Portal.

After they confronted Kudamon, a Champion-level Digimon slaughtering weaker Digimon to collect their Digi-Eggs, Kudamon opened a passage to the Human World, and Zheng Fan led Yuto and Woodpeckermon inside as a fiery-red figure attacked from above.

• Zheng Fan gave Yuto the seed made from Rockmon’s digicore, and Yuto changed it into a Digivice that helped Hawkmon digivolve into Woodpeckermon.
• Zheng Fan sent Yuto and Woodpeckermon north, where they discovered Kudamon collecting Digi-Eggs from Digimon it had killed.

• A group led by Kodachi cornered Chika, but an apparent meteor struck Kodachi and landed safely in Chika’s hands before Marcus and the others arrived.
• Zheng Fan treated his poisoning with netherworld grass while Hawkmon went searching for more and sensed unusually pure Digisoul near Chika’s home.
• Chika rescued Mianmianmon from Agumon and comforted him, and Hawkmon explained that their shared wish had produced pure Digisoul.
• Marcus, Thomas, and Yoshino arrived, and Mianmianmon sensed their hostility as Chika asked whether they wanted to kill him.

Marcus Damon woke in a forest and was attacked by local Digimon, while Yuto’s connection to Mercurymon helped calm them.

• GeoGreymon, Woodpeckermon, and Airdramon defeated Kudamon AT as Thomas activated the device, opening a black hole that swallowed Marcus Damon and the others.
