Chapters 202–226 Vol. 3 Read

Ch. 202Human World

Zheng Fan suppressed the disaster caused by Golgomon’s collision, while Chika and other Digimon arrived in the Human World and Baromon urged them to invade it. Marcus Damon pursued BioDarkdramon into the Human World, where Takuya and the others defeated Sei and stripped him of his power.

  • Zheng Fan sensed Calumon, Chika, and Yuto had returned without Marcus, then used the Night Dawn Sword and the earth vein’s death energy to become a giant stone figure that stopped the shock waves.
  • Chika told Baromon and the Digimon they were in the Human World, and Baromon rallied them to invade under Chika’s rule.
  • Meteormon attacked Kurata and Kudamon, while Marcus opened a passage through the world and escaped BioDarkdramon’s pursuit into the Human World.
  • Marcus encountered Takuya and the others near Golgomon, and Sei arrived to challenge him and stop his rescue attempt.
  • Sei used Bio-Evolution to become BioDarkdramon and attacked Koichi, but Takuya and the others Spirit-Evolved and subdued him.
  • The six scanned BioDarkdramon’s energy with their Spirit Digivices, leaving Sei powerless as Marcus warned that the Digimon World might retaliate.

Ch. 203Kudamon Javelin

The DATS team and the Spirit warriors faced Golgomon’s battle as Kurata prepared and launched the Kudamon Javelin, while Wisemon revealed the ancient history behind Mega Digimon and the rebuilt Digimon World. The Kudamon Javelin filled the sky as the group learned that the Ten Warriors had shattered their world and rebuilt it to imprison Lucemon.

  • Tomoki and the Spirit warriors explained their origins to Marcus Damon, who demonstrated how his Digisoul made Agumon evolve while DATS fought to contain Golgomon.
  • Kouji and the others suspected that the Holy City on Golgomon’s back held the Digimon World’s data core, before Meteormon struck KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon.
  • Thomas and Nanami requested the Kudamon Javelin’s launch, and Kurata released the weapon as Kudamon XT swarmed around it.
  • Yoshino and Oremon warned the group that Kudamon’s attacks could threaten even a Mega Digimon, while Wisemon explained the ancient evolutionary ranks.
  • Wisemon read that the Ten Warriors and Lucemon had shattered the old Digimon World, after which its survivors rebuilt it and imprisoned Lucemon at its core.

Ch. 204Catastrophe

Takuya and the others struggled to stop Kurata’s attack, but the arrival of the gods of Olympus sent Golgomon back to the Digimon World. As Digimon poured into the Human World, the Emperor’s missiles struck the gathered newcomers, leaving the conflict poised to escalate.

  • Takuya and Kouji used the other children’s Spirits to become KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon, then freed Golgomon by destroying the weapons restraining him.
  • Kurata dismantled the Kudamon Javelin and sent the remaining Kudamon XT after the fleeing KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon.
  • Golgomon called the gods of Olympus, who arrived and opened a passage to return him to the Digimon World.
  • Kurata persuaded the Emperor to activate the Superweapon, while Mercurymon and the other gods fought off the Kudamon XT.
  • More Digimon emerged into the Human World, but the Emperor’s missiles struck the gathered Champion Digimon.

Ch. 205Wugangmon

The Digimon declared war on humanity, while Kurata exploited the battlefield to harvest energy and Apollomon became the human-hating Wugangmon. As a new clash approached, Thomas and Nanami returned to the warriors’ meeting with Kurata’s research and a plan to fight the Mega Digimon.

  • Mervamon and Apollomon urged the Digimon to wage war on humanity, and Apollomon destroyed New Tokyo Tower as a declaration of force.
  • Kurata sent Kudamon XT to shatter fallen Digimon’s Digi-Eggs and harvest their energy before escaping with the collected power.
  • Apollomon transformed into Wugangmon, the Moonlight Vengeance, while humanity searched for Kurata and the allied forces halted Wugangmon’s advance in Africa.
  • Calumon reported that Zheng Fan might emerge from his stone form within seven days, but Dr. Noguchi warned that the Digimon could open a space passage in four.
  • Thomas H. Norstein returned with Bio Digimon, and Yushima explained that Thomas had joined Kurata’s laboratory at his request.
  • Nanami offered Kurata’s research as a way to turn humans into powerful Digimon and hinted that she had a plan to destroy the warriors.

Ch. 206Thomas H. Snodin

Thomas proposed opening a passage between two Digimon Worlds to end the threat to Earth, then sacrificed himself to create a black hole that could connect them. He left his Digivice behind in a devastated world where Lucemon remained sealed, as the black hole began to grow.

  • The coalition army’s nuclear attacks failed to stop Wugangmon, who pursued the forces into the United States, while Calumon helped the Celestial Empire Cultivators seal Athenamon.
  • Thomas presented genetic evidence that Takuya and his friends came from another world and proposed making the two Digimon Worlds fight to give Earth a respite.
  • Marcus agreed to support Thomas for Chika’s sake, and Bio Forget-Me-Not Flower Beast seized the D-Tectors and restrained the others while Thomas opened a passage.
  • Thomas entered the passage alone and reached a hollowed-out Digimon World where the railway tracks indicated that Lucemon had not escaped his seal.
  • Thomas charged his Digivice with Digisoul and threw it away, then detonated the Super Plane Bomb and let its black hole consume him.
  • The black hole grew after consuming Thomas and began to reach the size needed to connect the two Digimon Worlds.

Ch. 207The gods in despair

Nanami transferred her power to Gaomon while the gods of Olympus searched for a way back to the Digimon World. After studying footage of Zheng Fan and recognizing the Holy Ring in his sword, Mercurymon proposed exploiting Zheng Fan’s petrified state as their last chance.

  • Nanami entered the Cultivation Tank and transferred her power to Gaomon, who then entered the tank himself.
  • Wugangmon questioned Mercurymon about stopping the gods from rescuing Athenamon, and the gods discussed their uncertainty about Calumon and Zheng Fan.
  • A Sumitomo agent brought the gods footage showing Zheng Fan’s arrival at Marcus Damon’s home and his transformation into a stone statue.
  • The gods examined Zheng Fan’s actions and identified his sword as bearing a Holy Ring, leaving Neptunemon and Marsmon convinced they had lost.
  • Mercurymon argued that Zheng Fan’s statue suppressed both the earth and Zheng Fan himself, and urged the gods to seize their final opportunity.

Ch. 208EmperorLeomon

Zheng Fan negotiated with Athenamon to return the Olympians’ borrowed power to the Digimon World, while Mercurymon opened a passage back to Earth. Leomon broke the formation and Koichi disappeared, but he reappeared as Leomon and used Double Spirit Evolution to become EmperorLeomon.

  • The four Mega Digimon attacked Zheng Fan’s statue, but his Flowing Water Sword Style gathered its scattered Origin power and held them off.
  • Athenamon bargained for Calumon to make Wugangmon, Neptunemon, and Marsmon devolve and for Mercurymon to return their power to the Digimon World.
  • Zheng Fan freed Athenamon, and the Olympians accepted devolution; Takuya’s scan made Wugangmon devolve to Champion-level Leomon.
  • Zheng Fan gave the Digimon a spatial protection formation, and Mercurymon tore open a passage while the others protected Earth.
  • Leomon shattered the formation as Mercurymon entered the passage, and Koichi vanished, leaving Leomon holding his D-Tector.
  • Leomon revealed that he was Koichi, then fused the Human Spirit of Darkness and Beast Spirit of Darkness through Double Spirit Evolution to become EmperorLeomon.

Ch. 209World Tree

Mercurymon learned that the Infinite Ice Wall had fallen, several Mega Digimon had died, and NumemonBrolymon had sealed the powerful enemy inside himself. With the seal at risk of breaking, Mercurymon and Goldensword Leomon turned to World Tree for reinforcements.

  • Goldensword Leomon told Mercurymon that the enemy had destroyed the Infinite Ice Wall and killed ShadowGreymon, ChaosAngemon, Mammothmon, and Valkyrimon.
  • Goldensword Leomon explained that fusion experiments had helped the survivors create NumemonBrolymon, who sacrificed himself to seal the enemy.
  • Mercurymon realized his fusion research gave him a reason to keep living and asked Goldensword Leomon about the enemy and Rosemon.
  • Mercurymon recounted World Tree's history and concluded that only World Tree could send reinforcements.
  • Goldensword Leomon asked Mercurymon to seek World Tree's help against the enemy.

Ch. 210Lucemon

Mercurymon reached the World Tree to warn him about Lucemon and learned why the World Tree had ordered the Human World destroyed. Lucemon arrived at the palace bearing a Digivice, while BanchoLeomon warned that the seemingly harmless visitor had devoured his own world.

  • Mercurymon fought SkullMeramon for passage up World Mountain until the World Tree ordered SkullMeramon to let him through.
  • The World Tree healed Mercurymon partially, explained that he had sent BanchoLeomon to assist against Lucemon, and asked about Mercurymon's experiences in the Human World.
  • The World Tree showed Mercurymon a deadly poison from the Human World, and Mercurymon agreed that its threat could justify destroying that world.
  • BanchoLeomon returned with Lucemon, who gave Mercurymon a Digivice and said it had been left by the mastermind.
  • The World Tree declared that he would not allow humans to use the Digivice against Digimon, and BanchoLeomon warned that Lucemon could not be trusted because he had devoured his own world.

Ch. 211Belphemon

Koichi took control of EmperorLeomon's body after his own death, while Apollomon confronted Kurata, who was hiding inside Belphemon in the space passage. Apollomon put Belphemon back to sleep and considered how to use his knowledge of the demon lord.

  • Zheng Fan told Kouji that Koichi was a soul who had traveled with him and that a body was needed to protect him in the Human World.
  • Apollomon intercepted Belphemon in the space passage and recognized Kurata inside the Digimon.
  • Apollomon attacked Kurata, but Belphemon awakened and released a sleep-inducing mist before his machine soothed him back to sleep.
  • Apollomon explained that he knew how to stop Belphemon from waking and realized he might be able to use that knowledge.

Ch. 212Yuto

Mercurymon visited the Holy City and found Yuto trapped in a dream after blaming himself for the conflict between humans and Digimon. Mercurymon entered Yuto’s dream to try to reach him, just as the dream’s loop broke again.

  • Apollomon led Kurata and Belphemon through the Space Gate, where Kurata laughed at first before Belphemon’s sleep-talk made him cautiously seek a place to sleep.
  • Mercurymon learned that Yuto was asleep inside a dream barrier maintained by five Piximon and heard that Yuto blamed himself for the conflict.
  • Mercurymon recalled how Gate English had once helped the Digimon and asked Chika Damon about her family.
  • Baromon explained that Hawkmon had entered Yuto’s mental world to wake him, but the dream’s loop had been rebuilt around Hawkmon as a bridge.
  • Mercurymon embraced Yuto and entered his dream, vanishing from the perception of Digimon across the world.
  • Yuto’s dream loop broke again.

Ch. 213This Is My Turf

Hawkmon accompanied Yuto through a dream of his first journey into the Eastern Forest and the Human World, trying to protect him while memories from three years ago surfaced. After Yuto recalled his friends and grew into his later self, he rescued Chika and invited her to dinner.

  • Mercurymon ordered Yuto and Hawkmon to investigate missing Digimon in the Eastern Forest, where the Budmon asked them to find their vanished protector, Kudamon.
  • Yuto and Hawkmon followed a Space Passage into the Human World, where Hawkmon rescued Yuto from a red-haired man by using Bamboo Strike.
  • Yuto recognized Motomiya's ramen sign and recalled Chika, Zheng Fan, Marcus Damon, and Rockmon, causing the dream world to shift to its later appearance.
  • Yuto watched Marcus Damon help Agumon digivolve and told Hawkmon he wanted to become a tamer so Hawkmon could digivolve.
  • Chika ran to Yuto for help, and Yuto defeated the delinquents pursuing her before inviting her to dinner at Heaven on Earth.

Ch. 214Yatagaramon

Hawkmon witnessed Yuto’s memories of escaping Kurata’s laboratory and failing to save the captive Digimon, while Mercurymon confronted Yuto about his fear and distrust. Yuto trusted Hawkmon enough to evolve him into Yatagaramon, but Yatagaramon still struggled against Kudamon AT.

  • In Yuto’s dream, eight-year-old Yuto broke out of his glass cell with Oremon’s stone and fought his way through the laboratory with Hawkmon.
  • Yuto found Kurata experimenting on Triceramon and struck Kurata down, while Hawkmon fought Kudamon AT.
  • Kudamon AT overwhelmed Woodpeckermon, and the captive Digimon sacrificed themselves trying to protect him.
  • Wizardmon’s spell brought the dream back to Yuto’s first arrival in the Human World, where Mercurymon told him the tragedy stemmed from his distrust of his partners and friends.
  • Yuto ignited his Digisoul and evolved Woodpeckermon into Yatagaramon, who attacked Kudamon AT but was driven back again.

Ch. 215Ravenmon

Yuto’s dream enabled Hawkmon to Mega Digivolve into Ravenmon and defeat Kudamon AT, while Lucemon and Kurata captured the Gate of Great Sin’s power. As the Digimon World’s all-out war devastated Earth, a Mega-level Space Passage opened beside Zheng Fan’s crumbling statue.

  • Yuto’s dream merged with Yatagaramon’s power, allowing Hawkmon to Mega Digivolve into Ravenmon, who killed Kudamon AT.
  • Chika and Biyomon found Yuto still unconscious as the seven runes in the Holy City’s central room lit up.
  • Lucemon trapped Golgomon in the Life and Death Barrier while Kurata used machines to capture a black shadow from the Holy City.
  • The Digimon World launched an all-out war against the Human World, killing billions as the defenders struggled to protect Earth.
  • Zheng Fan’s stone statue crumbled until a Space Passage large enough for Mega-level Digimon opened.

Ch. 216The Spatial Barrier Shattered

Nanami discovered that the worlds’ spatial barrier was shattering, and Zheng Fan used a giant stone sword to stop the breach from expanding. With the cracks still open and Zheng Fan exhausted, Marcus Damon swallowed a pebble that set his body ablaze.

  • Nanami warned that a destructive force was breaking the barrier between the Human World and the Digimon World, and the Digimon World appeared above Earth.
  • Lucemon used Gate English’s living body to disrupt the World Tree, while Kurata destroyed the Gate of Great Sin and released immense power.
  • Gaomon explained that the spreading cracks could eventually bring the Digimon World’s other planets and Sun into the breach.
  • Marcus Damon kicked Zheng Fan’s statue, freeing Athenamon, and the statue’s fragments formed a tornado that revealed Zheng Fan.
  • Zheng Fan created a giant stone sword with help from the others and thrust it toward the landmass overhead, stopping the breach from expanding.
  • Zheng Fan told Marcus Damon that the existing cracks could not be healed, then gave him a pebble; Marcus swallowed it and burst into flames.

Ch. 217Wishing on the Dragon Pearls to Revive Thomas

Beerus used the Super Dragon Pearls to revive Bardock, who spent the remaining wishes reviving Thomas in another world. Meanwhile, Marcus and Agumon reached Burst Mode, and Yoshino encountered BanchoLeomon and helped BioSpinosmon, who was revealed to be Ivan, regain his reason.

  • Beerus wished for Bardock's revival, and Bardock emerged as the legendary Super Saiyan God who had once guided Beerus.
  • Bardock used the Super Dragon Pearls' remaining wishes to revive Thomas, despite the cost consuming all the dragon's energy.
  • Marcus pushed himself through intense pain to share his power with Agumon, who reached ShineGreymon Burst Mode with him.
  • After DATS received a call for help at Beihai Orphanage, Yoshino went there and found children sheltered while BioSpinosmon fought BanchoLeomon.
  • BanchoLeomon gave Yoshino a blue Digivice and explained that he was on humanity's side, while BioSpinosmon had lost his reason.
  • Yoshino reached out to BioSpinosmon, and he slowly regained his reason and recognized her as Ivan.

Ch. 218The Royal Knights

Yoshino heard Ivan confess why he had protected the children at Nanshan Orphanage before BanchoLeomon destroyed BioSpinosmon and announced the Royal Knights’ return. Kudamon explained the Royal Knights’ origins and strength, and the chapter ended with news that the Giant Continent was descending toward Earth.

  • Ivan told Yoshino and BanchoLeomon that he had accepted Kurata’s modifications to protect the children, then recounted his complicated relationship with his deceased brother and his resolve to keep the children from suffering as he had.
  • As Ivan’s soul faded and Spinosmon began to take over, BanchoLeomon used Flash Bancho Punch to destroy BioSpinosmon and told Yoshino to inform Marcus Damon that the Royal Knights had returned.
  • Kudamon explained that the Royal Knights pursued evolution beyond Mega, described the World Tree and several powerful knights, and warned DATS that their opponents were unlike the Twelve Olympians.
  • DATS received a phone call reporting that the Giant Continent above the North Pole had begun descending and could collide with Earth within twenty-four hours.

Ch. 219Alphamon

Gaomon erased his Astashelan form and awakened Phantom Gaogamon through the power in Thomas’s Digivice, while Zheng Fan recovered and met Alphamon. Zheng Fan accepted Alphamon’s challenge to play Go, wagering a glimpse of his world against Alphamon’s help in fighting the Royal Knights.

  • Sleipmon offered to take the group onward, while Gaomon arranged for the Snowdin Family to protect the meditating Zheng Fan.
  • Gaomon asked Calumon to erase his Mega form, then sensed Thomas’s power more clearly in the Digivice and evolved into Phantom Gaogamon.
  • Phantom Gaogamon found Thomas’s direction among the stars and tested Phantom Crescent Slash, waking Zheng Fan with the blast.
  • At the North Pole, Zheng Fan awoke and learned from Yoshino that Earth had little fighting strength left against the Digimon World.
  • Alphamon proposed a Go match, offering to help hold off the other Royal Knights if he lost; Zheng Fan agreed to show him his world if Zheng Fan lost.
  • Alphamon carved a huge ninety-nine-line Go board and told Zheng Fan how expanded board rules had once turned his victory over humanity’s strongest player into defeat.

Ch. 220Hyper Spirit Evolution

Zheng Fan and Alphamon raced through a high-stakes Go match as the Digimon World descended toward Earth, while the others struggled against the worsening cold and rising seawater. Tomoki combined the warriors’ power to brace the two worlds with ice, but Zheng Fan shattered the pillar and Tomoki collapsed.

  • Zheng Fan accepted Alphamon’s challenge and played black, trading thousands of rapid moves as the board turned into a chaotic battle of ko fights.
  • As the Digimon World drew close, Junpei used an ice sundial to track the time, and Alphamon cut a mountain peak from the descending world before resuming the game.
  • The Digimon World began contacting Earth, raising seawater around the group; Takuya’s Blazing Barrier could not keep pace with the flooding and melting permafrost.
  • Tomoki gathered the warriors’ spirits and energy, evolved into Hexeblaumon, and froze the seawater into a pillar that braced the Human World against the Digimon World.
  • Zheng Fan struck the pillar with a Go stone and shattered it, freeing the exhausted Tomoki, who said he had succeeded; Kouji defended the warriors’ duty to honor their spirits.

Ch. 221SkullMeramon

After persuading Alphamon to help stop the Royal Knights, Zheng Fan’s group traveled to World Mountain to confront the World Tree. SkullMeramon blocked their way and fought off their attacks with weapons modified by the World Tree, leaving the group with no clear means of getting past him.

  • Zheng Fan explained to Alphamon that sacrifice had won their game, and Alphamon agreed to persuade the other Royal Knights to stand down while warning that the World Tree still controlled the Digimon World.
  • Marcus Damon decided to seek out the World Tree, and Gaomon suggested asking the former rulers Athenamon and Lightning Leopardmon for help locating it.
  • Athenamon and the other prisoners led the group to World Mountain, where SkullMeramon refused to let them approach the World Tree’s Palace despite Alphamon’s decision not to attack.
  • After SkullMeramon swept aside Takuya’s attempt to sneak past, Marcus challenged him and empowered Agumon to become ShineGreymon.
  • ShineGreymon and the others attacked, but SkullMeramon blocked their strikes with the Aegis of Avalon and revealed that the World Tree had modified his weapons.

Ch. 222The Destroyer of Order

SkullMeramon overwhelmed the defenders until Thomas returned and led them in a plan to break the Aegis of Avalon. With Marcus Damon powering ShineGreymon into Burst Mode, the shield cracked, and Marcus prepared to attack SkullMeramon directly.

  • SkullMeramon pierced ShineGreymon with Keraso's Spear and knocked Marcus Damon unconscious while Thomas raced back toward Earth.
  • Phantom Gaogamon rallied the fighters to attack SkullMeramon's shield, and Yuto and Chika joined the battle.
  • Thomas returned, revived Marcus Damon with Yoshino's medicine, and organized the group around Marcus and ShineGreymon.
  • Marcus Damon unleashed Digisoul to make ShineGreymon evolve into Burst Mode, whose attacks cracked the Aegis of Avalon.
  • Thomas explained that the World Tree's modifications had separated SkullMeramon from the order sustaining his shield, and Marcus charged at him with a flaming fist.

Ch. 223Alliance

Thomas and the others reached World Mountain, where Takuya and the other Legendary Warriors absorbed the mountain’s data into their D-Tectors. BanchoLeomon then revealed that the World Tree had allied with Lucemon, leaving Thomas’s plan for peace seemingly impossible.

  • Thomas persuaded SkullMeramon to stand aside after his shield shattered, and the group continued toward the World Tree.
  • Yuto explained that World Mountain was the place where the World Tree had first taken root, while Hawkmon said the tree had since moved to the plain ahead.
  • With Thomas’s approval, Takuya, Kouji, and the other Legendary Warriors transformed and absorbed World Mountain’s data, restoring it as a tiny model in Takuya’s hand.
  • Thomas spotted BanchoLeomon, who had protected Chika and given her a powerful Lion Carving; Chika stopped Marcus Damon from attacking him.
  • BanchoLeomon told Thomas and the others to return to the Human World and prepare for war because the World Tree had allied with Lucemon.

Ch. 224Akihiro Kutasada

BanchoLeomon and the others fought Belphemon, while Thomas discovered that Cang Tian had become its human soul and body. As the battle paused for a tense exchange, Cang Tian revealed his past and identified Yuto as the person who had killed him, leaving Chika still unwilling to forgive Yuto.

  • BanchoLeomon warned the others to flee, but Marcus Damon attacked Belphemon and fell unconscious when Dark Lullaby swept over him.
  • The group attacked Belphemon, but his defenses and Dark Lullaby defeated several Digimon while Thomas recognized him as Akihiro Kutasada.
  • Thomas deduced that Cang Tian had transformed himself into Belphemon using information from the Stone Tablet, and Chika challenged him over what he would lose if Earth were destroyed.
  • Thomas had Yoshino use Sunflowmon's Sunshine to awaken Belphemon's consciousness, then stopped the attack when Belphemon began to thrash wildly.
  • BanchoLeomon questioned Cang Tian about abandoning his ideals, and Cang Tian admitted that Yuto had killed him; Hawkmon recounted Yuto's dream, but Chika still did not forgive him.

Ch. 225Belphemon

Belphemon awakened into Rage Mode and overwhelmed the team, forcing Thomas to devise a plan to help BanchoLeomon. Sunflowmon drew Belphemon into an ambush, but she screamed just as BanchoLeomon caught up to him.

  • BanchoLeomon attacked Belphemon, whose sleeping body erupted with black energy that incapacitated KaiserGreymon's fire dragons and the surrounding area.
  • Belphemon transformed into his fully awake Rage Mode and defeated the Digimon fighting alongside Marcus Damon and Thomas.
  • Thomas explained Belphemon's three forms and said Sunflowmon could distract him while BanchoLeomon kept fighting.
  • Yoshino used Sunflowmon's Sunshine attacks to weaken Belphemon and lure him away from BanchoLeomon.
  • Thomas ordered the Digimon to ambush Belphemon and protect Sunflowmon, but she screamed as BanchoLeomon caught up with him.

Ch. 226Gate English

Belphemon trapped the allied Digimon in a brutal battle, while Sunflowmon and Lilamon weakened him at great cost. As Marcus disappeared and Cang Tian revealed his connection to Belphemon, the Demon Lord grew into a colossal beast and launched a chain network toward the sky.

  • Belphemon used a buried chain to capture Sunflowmon, but her Sunshine attack enraged him and BanchoLeomon continued fighting him.
  • Sunflowmon digivolved into Lilamon and used Spring Blossoms, Reading Day, and Wind and Rain to weaken Belphemon before collapsing.
  • ShineGreymon and the other Digimon attacked Belphemon together, leaving wounds that showed he could no longer recover.
  • Belphemon pulled Akihiro Kutasada out of his belly repeatedly, and Cang Tian emerged and confessed that he had wanted to surpass Gate English.
  • Cang Tian urged Belphemon to flee through the opening to the human world, and Belphemon transformed into a fifty-meter beast whose chains divided the battlefield and surged skyward.
