Kitsune Saiguu comforted Ei and urged her to keep moving forward before fading away. Her sacrifice cleansed the Sacred Sakura, completing the ritual and leaving Ei with a fox mask.
After meeting Kitsune Saiguu, Yae Miko urged Ei to give herself more time to process her grief and reconsider her fear of progress and loss. When chapter five of The Domineering Electro Archon Falls for Me! went on sale, a manuscript for chapter six appeared at Yae Miko’s door.
Yae Miko urged Ailin to leave Ei to spare her the pain of outliving him, and Ailin agreed, but he struggled to part from her. When Ailin asked why Ei traveled with him, her answer reassured him, and Ei asked what he thought of the Vision Hunt Decree and the Raiden Shogun.
Ailin explained to Ei why he believed the Raiden Shogun was a gentle god, arguing that losing their Visions had spared three people from worse suffering caused by their ambitions. Ei listened as he suggested the Shogun had taken away ambitions to keep people safe, leaving their conversation with his sympathetic view of her actions.
Ailin explained to Ei why taking away people’s Visions and wishes caused them suffering, and urged her to consider the happiness the future could bring. After reading the story, Ei reflected on its message while Yae Miko encouraged her to leave the Plane of Euthymia and move forward.
Yae Miko tried to loosen Ei’s resolve by recounting how Mondstadt’s people overthrew Decarabian when he no longer answered their wishes. She revealed that a New God had appeared on Watatsumi Island and challenged Ei to a duel, offering victory as proof that Inazuma’s desire to advance could overcome Eternity.
After Ellin challenged Ei on behalf of the people’s wishes, Ei agreed to a duel, and the Tri-Commission secured a suspension of the Vision Hunt Decree. Notices announced that the duel would take place in three days on Seirai Island, leaving Yae Miko determined to rally Inazuma’s hopes behind Ellin.
Ellin and Ei began their duel above Seirai Island, with the battle set to decide Inazuma’s future and Ellin’s life. After trading powerful attacks, Ellin slipped past the Shogun’s defense and struck her with a flaming punch.
Ellin’s surprise Pyro punch sent the Shogun crashing into Seirai Island, but the Shogun responded by taking her strongest puppet form and striking back with overwhelming speed. After her Geo shield failed, Ellin was blasted into a crater, and the Shogun hurled three Lightning Demon-Quelling Vajras toward her.
Ellin fought the Raiden Shogun on Seirai Island, shattering her lightning pestles and dismantling her lightning arms with powerful elemental attacks. As Ei wondered how Ellin could fuse four elements, Ellin formed an enormous Geo Sword in the sky.
Ellin and the Shogun traded devastating attacks that leveled Seirai Island, then resumed their duel in the sky. The Shogun used “This eye beholds the mortal world” to summon two enormous lightning hands from spatial rifts and trap Ellin between them.
Ellin unleashed Dragon Claw Fist: Wind Dragon Opens the Heavens to tear apart the Shogun’s colossal lightning attack and wound her. The Shogun recognized Ellin’s strength and proposed ruling Inazuma together if Ellin lost, but Ellin and the Shogun prepared to fight on for a decisive victory.
Ellin and the Raiden Shogun prepared their strongest attacks to decide their battle, with the Shogun unleashing Final Tribulation against Ellin. Ellin answered by summoning a vast storm of Anemo and thunder and diving toward the incoming blade aura.
Ellin defeated the Shogun in a devastating clash that shattered Seirai Island, but the Shogun said she could not repeal the Vision Hunt Decree or the Sakoku Decree without the approval of the one within. Ei then emerged and challenged Ellin to fight.
Ellin fought Ei after defeating the Shogun, hoping to prove the strength of Inazuma’s people’s wishes and persuade both of them to reconsider Eternity. Ei defeated Ellin when her power ran nearly dry, leaving the change to Eternity unresolved.
Ellin rejected Ei’s invitation to protect Inazuma together and drew on the people’s wishes to continue the fight. After revealing the six elements in her demon god core and nearly erasing Ei with Elemental Shockwave, Ellin challenged her to decide the battle with a three-hundred-shot Planet Befall.
Ellin overwhelmed Ei with a meteor shower, then rescued her as she accepted that her people’s wishes did not mean they wanted her replaced. Ellin carried Ei away from the impact and calmed the resulting shock waves, while the spectators celebrated their victory.
After the Vision Hunt Decree was repealed and Inazuma’s civil war ended, Ellin became its second god alongside Ei. Ellin intercepted La Signora as the Fatui Harbinger tried to flee Inazuma, and La Signora threatened Ellin’s loved ones to save herself.
Ellin confronted La Signora after she threatened Ellin’s family and friends, then slaughtered the Fatui and destroyed their ship. She began torturing La Signora in retaliation for her attacks on Zhongli and Venti.
Ellin killed La Signora, then learned from Yae Miko that Ei’s Gnosis had been traded to Scaramouche’s side for peace, money, and materials to repair the Shogun puppet. With Inazuma’s threats resolved, Ellin returned to Mondstadt, still keeping her real name from Ei.
Ellin returned to Mondstadt, reunited with Eula, and took her to Good Hunter for lunch. The chapter left Eula encouraged by the growing recognition of her efforts, while an author’s notice explained that a power outage had limited updates to one for the day.
Ellin reunited with Diluc at Angel's Share, where he revealed that the Abyss Order had secretly redirected its gathering from Windrise to Wolvendom. The Knights of Favonius arrived to join the investigation, while Diluc’s resentment toward them remained rooted in his father’s death.
The Knights of Favonius and Ellin’s group set out for Wolvendom after learning of the Abyss’s threat. There, Razor fought to protect his wolf family from Rifthounds until a white-haired girl arrived and saved him.
Ellin reunited with Razor and learned that Rifthounds had appeared in Wolvendom from an underground space near Stormterror’s Lair. After Andrius warned that the Rifthounds could herald another disaster, Ellin and the others found the blocked entrance and opened it with her pure-white energy.
Ellin, Venti, Eula, Jean, Diluc, Kaeya, and Amber attacked an Abyss ritual in an underground space, where nearly six hundred Abyss Mages were trying to widen a spatial rift. The battle left the rift's fate unresolved as Mondstadt's fighters struggled to defeat the overwhelming enemy force without worsening the danger.
