Before becoming the Saint King, she worked as a Golden Core Realm alchemist and possessed nine souls and twenty-one spirits without knowing how to use them. The Prophet Spirit Spring’s gift transformed both her understanding and her cultivation, allowing her to become one of the lower planes’ few Tribulation Transcendence True Persons 497 511.

As ruler, she oversaw the allocation of resources among the Dry Jade Continent’s sects. Most native sect leaders knew her through the Giant-Axe Orc manifestation rather than her true appearance 500.

After learning that the neighboring Nine Netherworlds Continent had fallen, she concluded that direct resistance could not save her own continent. Enlightened spirit consciousness foretold Lin Mo’s arrival three years after its occupation, and she built her strategy around preserving enough strength for his eventual resistance 528.

Appearance

The Saint King has a female true form and two distinct male manifestations—not merely disguises 499 511.

• At the Dragon-Slaying Platform, her black robes are blood-soaked, her hair is matted against her forehead, and she is barely alive while bound to a cross 584.

Personality

Her public conduct is deliberately intimidating. The White-Clad Youth remains smiling and composed while neutralizing Lin Mo’s strongest attacks, while the Giant-Axe Orc attempts to divide the Coalition Army by offering pardons in exchange for Lin Mo’s execution 492 518.

Behind that performance, she is patient, calculating, and willing to sacrifice herself. She accepts years of condemnation, arranges the deaths of her own manifestations, and stakes her life on exposing Xuantian Nether Venerable. She nevertheless acknowledges the crimes committed during her scheme rather than treating her intentions as absolution 527 528.

Enlightened Spirit Consciousness

A crystallization of the Prophet Spirit Spring from the middle plane’s Brahma Domain, granting wisdom described as all-knowing and all-capable 497 527.

• Foresees Lin Mo’s arrival and helps construct the multi-year resistance plan 528.
• Allows her to deduce Venerable Buyi’s thoughts and predict his actions; his lower-plane wisdom cannot reveal her present or future 511.

Story Role / Major Arcs

Occupation and the Ascension Ceremony

Initially presented as the ruler who surrendered first, the Saint King is blamed for enabling the Netherworld’s conquest. Lin Mo nevertheless suspects a hidden purpose when he learns that her black rain is unique 481 482.

The Ascension Ceremony forces soul slaves and evil beasts through lethal battles. Xi Ying later confirms that the victims serve as blood food for Qiongqi, one of the Netherworld’s Four Fiends 489 496.

The Two Saint Kings

Lin Mo’s first confrontation is with the White-Clad Youth, whose rule-powered meteors defeat his Spirit-Slaying Sword Intent. At the Homage Ceremony, he instead encounters the Giant-Axe Orc and retreats after confirming that the two are physically distinct beings 493 499.

Venerable Buyi resolves the mystery: both are manifestations of the same female ruler, whose third form remains hidden 511.

Assault on the Sacred Tower

The Coalition Army reaches the fifteenth floor and rejects the Orc’s offer to betray Lin Mo. Lotus Annihilation destroys that manifestation, but the White-Clad Youth immediately emerges to continue the battle 518 520 521.

The Youth captures Lin Mo and drains his vitality. Gongsun Fu’s Life-Spirit Symbiosis shares his suffering, allowing the World Tree to blossom and suppress the Saint King. The Youth dies as a wooden statue 523 524.

Sacrifice and Revelation

The true form appears, captures Lin Mo, and welcomes Xuantian Nether Venerable. At his moment of triumph, she pierces his chest, interrupts the cannon’s firing, and holds him in place as the Flame God Furnace engulfs them both 525 526 527.

Afterward, enlightened spirit consciousness reveals the plan: surrender avoided an unwinnable war, the ceremonies weakened loyal Netherworld forces, the cuffed sect leaders were preserved for Lin Mo, and the clones’ deaths advanced his World Tree enough to lure Xuantian Nether Venerable into the trap 528.

Dragon-Slaying Platform and Liberation

Lin Mo later finds her alive but tortured on the Dragon-Slaying Platform. She explains that a mysterious voice offered rebirth and ascent after her death, only for her to be imprisoned and stripped of cultivation upon reaching the middle planes 584 585.

Lin Mo breaks the prison’s curse by sacrificing the Nirvana Chain’s resurrection power. The Saint King and the other freed experts pledge to follow him into the Netherworld against the Heavenly Calamity Devil Ancestor 587.
