As Eros left the Duke’s Mansion aboard an airship, two artifacts from the Shadow Realm entered him and strengthened his inherited divine skills. The artifacts could not leave the realm in their true forms, but their power and part of their consciousness traveled with him.

• Eros’s family elders anxiously urged him to put his safety before pride as he boarded the airship.
• As the airship rose, Barbara warned Eros that two things were coming, and two streams of black light entered his body.
• The black light merged with Eros’s skills, turning Servant of Secrets into Divine Art: Lord of Secrets while leaving Divine Art: Eternal Night Judgment unchanged.

• Eros teased Natalia while holding her, then tossed her beside Ayesha and asked why the group had attacked him.
