Bai Shu and Xiao Qiao continued discussing renting a laboratory. The funds could probably be allocated to the Research Institute, which would make it easier for Xiao Qiao to apply for them.
It would kill two birds with one stone.
Da Qiao shook her head helplessly at the sight. "Money's been driving Xiao Qiao crazy lately."
Wang Weihu chuckled too. "By the way, how are your Man-Eating Flowers doing?"
Qin Luo had just finished redoing Xu Duoduo's hair, since her little braids had gotten messy. Hearing that, he added, "Yeah, have all your kids come back yet?"
Chen Xiaofei held several hair ties in his hand and was just as concerned. "Exactly! After you replanted them, they all survived, right?"
Wouldn't it be awful if they hadn't?
Xu Duoduo also looked at Da Qiao expectantly. Da Qiao looked quite well, not at all haggard. That meant the Man-Eating Flower Babies should be fine, right?
Sure enough.
Da Qiao smiled and nodded. "They're doing pretty well. They've already sprouted, and they should flower in a few days."
She said there seemed to be some changes this time. Perhaps they could even undergo a second evolution.
Qin Luo immediately said, "Whoa, seriously? They can evolve a second time?! Did you feed them something? Speaking of which, could you work on giving them some offensive capabilities next time? They're too weak."
Da Qiao said no. Qin Luo's idea was dangerous. "If they get out of control, it'll be a disaster. They're fine the way they were before."
She could simply treat them as companion pets.
They were plenty of fun.
Wang Weihu and Chen Xiaofei were relieved to hear that the Man-Eating Flower Babies had all sprouted.
Just then, Professor Ji knocked and came in through the doorway. "What are you talking about?
